World War II comes and
gives women new roles.
Women in the military
Women perform men’s
jobs in factories.
Women play a big part in
keeping spirits high.
What happened?
After World War II the men came
home and took all their jobs back .
Soon men believe they can do jobs
that women aren’t able to.
[they are soo wrong]
The next generation of women
starts the modern women’s
movement .
Congress passes the equal pay act in 1963
The equal rights amendment gets proposed
Women begin having jobs that used to be for men only
