Whitaker could not have said it bet-ter. The Lady Raiders bounced back in her second season winning 21 percent more games and 27 percent more conference games than in the previ-ous season.

The Lady Raiders look to contin-ue their climb this season returning key defensive leader Rayven Brooks and two-time Big 12 Freshman of the Week Dayo Olabode. Brooks led the team in steals and blocks last season, while Olabode led all Big 12 Freshmen in rebounds. The Lady Raiders also re-turn one of their leading scorers,Ivonne Cook-Taylor.
