POSITIVE MENTAL

HEALTH—

RESILIENCE

by Michael Mc Ginn

Do you suffer from anxiety? are you prone to de-

pression? Does life sometimes get you down? If so

this Talk is for you….

Michael Mc Ginn will speak on Resilience - the abil-

ity to bounce back when things don’t go as planned,

to recover and return to good health.

In this talk we will explore our own personal resili-

ence both internally and externally. By doing so this

will keep us in touch with our own personal and com-

munity resources. The good news is that even if

you’re not a naturally resilient person you can learn

to develop a resilient mindset, attitude and how to

incorporate this into your daily life.

CO-COUNSELLING

by Margaret Mc Quaid

As you sit with a friend or neighbour who want-

ed to talk about a worry or concern have you ever

thought, “I wish I knew what to say”, or when

stressed yourself have you thought “I wish some-

one would listen to me for a change”?

If so you may find answers in this talk. You will

be introduced to basic counselling skills and the

world of co-counselling.

Co-counselling is the practice of being client and

counsellor in turn with another person after they

have had a short training.

CREATIVITY by Carmel Loye

“A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity”

Have you ever longed to be able to draw or paint, write or compose

music?

The “Artists Way” helps demystify the creative process by

making it part of your daily life. It tackles your self doubts, self criticism

and worries. This talk will focus on how to unlock your creative talents and use these to

enhance your everyday life.

realistic perception of ourselves and our abilities.

In this talk Jim will speak about :

The Power of the mind, being open to every opportunity and how to focus on success;

How to enhance self confidence and self esteem;

Setting goals and following through on these goals with a realistic plan of action.
