Printable Mask Directions
1. Print out your masks. We used colored paper stock for our masks. 2. Color or paint your mask and pieces, as you like, and let dry. 3. Cut out mask shape following the outside outline. 4. Cut out eye sections. 5. For two part masks, cut out additional pieces following the outline. 6. Cut along any solid gray cut line (ears, forehead, cheeks, nose). 7. Fold/crease along dotted gray lines. 8. For all cut lines, fold pieces together, with the cut line side on top, up to the
dotted fold line. 9. Seeing how the folded pieces fit together, place glue/tape on the sections
marked with an x – keeping glue/tape between the cut and dotted gray fold line.
10. If mask has multiple pieces, cut, fold, and glue each piece individually. Then put all mask pieces together in order A to B. Let dry, if necessary.
11. TIP! For regular printer paper you can use glue or double-‐sided tape. Tape pens are great for this! If using heavier stock, glue is recommended. We used Quick Grip Contact Cement. Use a paperclip, office clip or clothespin to hold the pieces together while drying.
12. Using ribbon of your choice, tape or glue it to the inside of the mask at the top corners just above the eyes.
13. Bend and fold the mask for additional shape as you like. Heartfelt Creations Flower Shaping Essentials Kit is great for adding definition to fur and feathers.
14. Add any additional touches to your mask that you like. Embellishments, feathers, etc. Have fun with it! Our Masks: We used colored paper stock for our masks, and added additional details with Wink of Stella and Wink of Luna brushes.
