Heart. Spiritual traditions name LOVE as the central unifying force of the Universe. For
ourselves and for world healing and peace, we breathe, we dance, and we walk. No dance
experience necessary.

Carolyn Horvath was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education
from Cleveland State University and an undergraduate degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Carolyn has been
involved in spiritual ministry for over 40 years, founding and directing a House of Prayer in Barberton, Ohio, from 1972 till
1983 when she moved back to Cleveland to direct Hope House. Carolyn has extensive experience as a spiritual director,
creative liturgy planner and presider, liturgical dancer, conference planner and gardener. Carolyn is a Certified Leader and
Mentor Teacher for Dances of Universal Peace. She is also a Reiki Master teacher. She and Tom married in 1989 and continue
together to co-direct Hope House. Carolyn is a member of the Federation of Christian Ministries.
Tom Leonhardt was born in Toledo, Ohio. He holds a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Bellarmine School of
Theology of Loyola University in Chicago. Tom has done graduate studies in Sociology. His undergraduate degree in Medieval
Latin, is from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tom is an experienced liturgist, spiritual director, a Certified Teacher and
Mentor Teacher for Dances of Universal Peace, a Reiki Master Teacher, a Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, certified member of
the Federation of Christian Ministries and a member of the International Council of Community Churches. He describes
himself as a non-mainline Christian, regarding Jesus as a wisdom teacher and desert mystic.
