During her three day visit to Chico, Lama Tsering will explore the topic, "Healing the Emotions". We will understand how powerful the root causes of emotions such as anger, hatred, envy and jealousy are in our lives. We will also learn how to train the mind to be insightful and loving. In 1981 Lama Tsering began translating for H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, traveling extensively with him throughout the world. After completing the traditional three year retreat in 1995, she received full teaching transmission from Rinpoche, in which he also recognized her as an emanation of Tara. She was ordained as a lama in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.

Under the request of Chagdud Rinpoche, she has been teaching as the Lama-in-Residence at her center, Odsal Ling, in Sao Paulo, Brazil for the past 18 years.
