    KWIK-LOC cable locks and galvanised Cable are the fast & versatile way to hang static loads. Studies have shown installation time can be reduced up to 6 times compared to traditional installs using threaded rod, chain, hanger straps or other cable systems.All KWIK-LOC cable locks incorporate a length of pre-cut cable with a swaged end loop for maximum speed, efficiency and safety.

    This light weight system is a major safety improvement in terms of handling and installing on site and reduces OH&S problems when installing in aerial situations when compared to heavy traditional fittings.

    KWIC-LOK cable locks and galvanised wire rope are available in numerous configurations forattachment to virtually any type of building structure.

    Wire Cable

    CableGalvanized steel cable supplied by CRH is manufactured to exact standards and statistically tested to verify the breaking strength. Using cable supplied by CRH ensures the safety and integrity of the hanging system.

    Cable RollsGalvanized steel cable supplied by the roll.

    Looped CableLooped Cable enhances the KWIK-LOC suspensionsystem by the addition of a pre-looped end. Once the wireCable is pulled around the anchor point and through thelooped end of the cable, it is already secured at one end,saving time at the job site. The remaining wire Cable, thedrop, is passed through a channel in the KWIK-LOC.

    Then the wire Cable is inserted through a fastening point and back up into the second channel of the same cable lock. The locking teeth inside the cable lock engage the wire Cable which secures the equipment in place. The tensioning tool completes the adjustment.

    Zinc HousingOne piece die cast Zinc alloy combines major anti-corrosion properties with strength and consistent manufacturing quality.

    Locking WedgesAn oil impregnated sintered steel locking wedge is seated in each of two channels. Both wedges incorporate a release pin for easy adjustment. Each wedge makes contact with the cable using serrated teeth. These teeth press onto the cable and spread the load across the length of the wedge, maximizing grip strength.

    stainless steel springsEach spring is manufactured of stainless steel and assures initial engagement of the locking wedge to the wire rope.

    30040 Zinc Alloy 2.5mm (3/32) Zip-Clips are suitable for use with single or multi-tiered trapeze systems and in applications supporting such items as 3.2mm (1/8) cable trays, baskets, water and gas pipes and chilled beams.

    The Zip-Clip cable lock combined with cable and uni-strut is an efficient method of constructing a support structure. The Zip-Clip fits inside uni-sturt and has a spring loaded pawl which allows entry and passage of cable through the cable lock. Once engaged by the pawl, the cable is gripped with increasing pressure as the suspended load is increased. To ease adjustment each Zip-Clip cable lock has an integrated release pin to disengage the gripping pawl. To insure the integrity of the suspension system use cable supplied by CRH Australia.
