Welcome to Spectrum!Spectrum Creative Arts re-imagines the concepts of arts education and therapeutic intervention through a community-based creative arts center for all ages and abilities.

We provide high quality creative arts services in the areas of music therapy, music instruction, art therapy, and art instruction, with a variety of related programming opportunities for children and adults living in the Greater Rochester area and surrounding communities. We are conveniently located in the heart of Pittsford at 3300 Monroe Ave, across from the Pittsford Plaza.

At Spectrum, we believe that EVERYONE is an artist, and we seek to empower our students to create, explore, and enjoy the arts. We embrace the fact that every person is completely unique; therefore, a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach will not suffice. Every piece of our programming – from individual instruction to group session work – is designed with the ability to be customized to meet personal needs and maximize the existing strengths of our students. We believe that this approach to teaching and learning enables our students to experience the arts in a way that is personally meaningful.

Come experience the arts with us today!

Artistically,

Megan, Noa, and Wade

Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is the difference between the member and non-member rate for classes? ! !Any student enrolled in individual services at Spectrum (instruction or therapy) can enjoy a discounted 20% off member rate on all group classes and programming! "What’s the difference between music therapy, adapted lessons, and traditional lessons? !"Music therapy services are directed towards meeting very specific, and usually non-musical goals - such as developing social skills, reducing anxiety, or supporting academic material. Our music therapists assess each of their clients individually as well as document progress on set goals and objectives. "Adapted lessons are for students who require additional support with the learning and skill acquisition process from a trained music therapist. Although the goal is still to learn and explore music, these lessons are taught by a music therapist who has advanced training in human development and special education techniques. "Our traditional lessons are individually tailored to each of our students’ unique learning styles, and taught by one of our highly-qualified music and art instructors. "How do I register for services? !"Our registration process is very simple! Simply navigate to www.spectrumcreativearts.org and click on the large blue “Register Now” button on the home screen. Simply fill out the form, select your services, and hit ‘submit’! Once we’ve received your form, one of our team members will be in contact with you to confirm your spot. "I’m interested in services, but how can I figure out what would be the best fit? !"If you’re interested in services for you or your child, but aren’t sure where to start, we encourage you to schedule a complimentary tour/informational meeting with one of our staff! Our facility tours provide an exclusive opportunity to explore our 6,000 square foot space, meet some of our talented staff, and receive some personalized feedback as to what we may recommend for you here at Spectrum.
