wholesale:We prefer wholesale, only because it’s easier for us to keep track of, and it’s

less work for shops and sites to monitor. Rates can be negotiable, depending

on the size of your order. Time to ship is also dependent on the size of your

order, but typically we have a good inventory on hand. Also, depending on

the size of the order, shipping may be paid for in full by us, or we may ask that

you split the cost. Orders outside the U.S. may need to pay import fees.

consignment:We understand the need for some shops to operate on a consignment basis,

and we’re ready to work with you. Time to ship is dependent on the size of

your order, but typically we have a good inventory on hand. Also, depending

on the size of the order, shipping may be paid for in full by us, or we may ask

that you split the cost. Sorry, we only make consignment arrangements with

shay ometz and jeff barfoot are cofounders of bee things, where they make art prints and posters, apparel, and products for the home.

Jim Henson once said, “My hope still is to leave the world a bit better than

when I got here.” Shay and Jeff love to design, illustrate and print things that

make them happy, and they hope to make the people out in the world that

see them a bit happier, too.

The husband and wife team’s mid-century modern home and their their work

have been featured by Fab, HGTV Magazine, ReadyMade Magazine, The Dallas

Morning News, D Home Magazine, The Working Proof, and on the popular

blog design*sponge.

They have been making prints and home goods together as bee things since

2007. They have done design and illustration projects for AT&T, Crate and Barrel,

Papyrus, The New York Times, Nickelodeon, Fossil, The Land of Nod, the

National Audubon Society, Parragon Books, and Sappi Paper, among others.

Jeff and Shay live and work in Dallas, Texas, with their two moppy-haired sons

and two mini weenie dogs, all four of which eat their food.
