As the Season changes and it goes from light to dark outside it seems the opposite takes place within our homes. Childrens’ eyes light up just like the lights that hang from our houses. The holidays are here, and for many it’s their favorite time of the year. For me the essence of the holidays is where family and food meet in our homes and that is where this issue takes us. Ten entertainment spaces are featured with ten of the best holiday recipes; I hope you enjoy the look of them enough to try the taste. The featured homes are as beautiful as always - a product of hard work and skill by all who were involved.The local non-profit we are showcasing this issue is 2nd Harvest. When it comes to food and our community, no one fights hunger like they do. So many people are affected in a positive way by 2nd Harvest whether it is the volunteers or the benefactors. Please look for our article on them to find out how you can make a difference.I would like to give special thanks to our great local builders and businesses for filling this issue with beauty and meaning.
