Wine is not all about Burgundy, were you will find breath taking panoramic landscape views, towns ,small mediaeval villages, huge castles and miles of waterways with small cruiser bouts. Our wine tour starts at the south part of Burgundy near the town of Macon, home land to “Beaujolais” the young and ready to drink wine. The celebrations of the new harvest takes place on November of each year all over the world. In a small village near by, we will visit one of the most important wineries and wine museums in Burgundy, the “George Duboeuf“ winery, were we will see the beautiful rose gardens, vineyards, the train museum with the authentic carriage of Napoleon the emperor of France. Finally we will taste one of the best Beaujolais in this great wine region.

Monks first planted vines in “Clos de Vougeot” in the 12th century. Nowadays, protected by a wall of stones, “Clos de Vougeot” is the largest “grand cru” area in Burgundy.
