• Parents, according to the NCLB law, you have the right to know the professional qualifications of your children’s teacher.

• Additionally,• Parents must be notified if their child is been assigned or has been

taught for four or more consecutive weeks by, a teacher who is not highly qualified.

• Any teacher who has not taken and passed the PRAXIS is not highly qualified.

• All of the teachers at Wilson Elementary are Highly qualified . If you have questions, call or email me.

MORNING ROUTINE

7:30 am – 8:00 amBreakfast (enter through west doors)

Computer Club or Reading Zone(enter through playground doors)

8:00 am – First Bell Rings

8:10 am – Tardy Bell Rings

AFTERNOON ROUTINE2:30pm – Bell Rings

Students will go to Bus or ASC station

If you have multiple kids at Wilson, please pick a meet up location.

If you pick up kids, delegate a pickup location.

2:30pm –5:00pm After School Club

DROP OFF and PICKUP• Please do not drop off or pick up students

in bus lanes or parking lot in front of the school during the hours of 8:45-9:15 a.m. and 3:15-4:00 p.m.

• The best pick-up and drop-off areas are along 400 East or along 100 South on the side of the road closest to the school.

• Attendance - leave message if no answer, unexcused if not notified by parent

• All notes from office will be on Bright Blue paper. Family notes will go home with the youngest child in the family

• Lunch notices will be sent home generally on Mondays and Thursdays on bright orange paper
