Upcoming Group Programmes
Coping With Dyslexia
The Coping With Dyslexia Programme has been developed
by a Child and Adolescent Emotion Focused Behavioural
Therapist. The Small Group programme addresses Auditory
Hypersensitivity, anxiety and low self-esteem. With the aid
of Therapy horses and dogs, and the natural environment, a
Child and Adolescent Behavioural Therapist incorporates
CBT, Roleplay , visualisation and confidence building tasks
to teach coping strategies. Children gain an understanding
of their triggers and learn how to moderate emotional or
behavioural reactions.
Programme Details
6 week, one hourly Programme. 4 children maximum per class.
Classes are age appropriate. 7-10 years, 11-12 years , 13-15 years,
16 + years.

Animal & Nature Assisted Social and Emotional Learning
Programme for Children and Adolescents with ADHD
The Animal Assisted Social and Emotional Learning
Programme is a small group programme designed to assist
Children with ADHD or Autism who have underdeveloped
Emotion I.Q resulting in dysfunctional Emotion Regulation
or inability to read Emotion and Body responses in others,
and lack Social Interaction Skills. The programme
incorporates Emotion Regulation activities in the natural
environment using Therapy Horses and Dogs, to bring
about in the moment, Emotional and Social Learning.
Facilitated by a Child and Adolescent Behavioural
Therapist, children learn how to recognise and moderate emotional reactions and are taught coping
strategies to diffuse emotional or behavioural disturbances. The programme also incorporates peer
engagement, to increase social interaction skills, resulting in an increase in self- confidence and self-
esteem.

Life Skills for Teens
The Life Skills for Teens Programme is a small group
programme that provides a counselling format for
teens of whom are anxious or depressed. The
programme incorporates CBT, Visualisation , Emotion
Mindfulness, Life Coaching and activities in the natural
environment using Therapy Horses and Dogs.
Facilitated by a Child and Adolescent Behavioural
Therapist , teens learn how to recognise and moderate
emotional reactions and are taught coping strategies to
diffuse emotional, cognitive or behavioural
disturbances.

6 week, one hourly After School Programme.

The Horses Healing Kids -Child and Adolescent Behavioural Therapy Programmes are
Intensive Therapy Programmes held over 10 weeks. The one hour sessions are $100 per
session. Programmes include a Personalised Behavioural Management Plan
