1. Volunteer Work with Elephants
The volunteer work with elephant project is located in Surin City, in the Northeast of Thailand, approximately 6 hours from Bangkok. It can be reached by bus or by train from the capital or from the North of the country.
2. Turtle Conservation Volunteer Program
The project placements are located in the north Pacific Coast and Caribbean Coast in Costa Rica. As a volunteer, you will work with local staff to harvest eggs, beach cleaning night patrolling, counting turtles, collecting eggs and to keep them away from predators.
3. Desert Wildlife Reserve Program
Desert Wildlife Reserve project is located in Arava Desert Valley region, which is 40 kms north of Eilat. in Southern Israel. Volunteer Duties include are: Preparing food and feeding animals, maintaining reserve facilities, accompanying & assisting park rangers etc.
4. Volunteer in Marine Conservation Project
The highlights of the program for volunteers is to work and live in a charming coastal town. Volunteers can also learn to scuba dive snorkeling. The Marin conservation project is located in Denia, which is a traditional fishing town 100 kms south of Valencia.
5. Manatee Conservation Volunteer Work
The project placement is located in the Amazonian of Peru at the city of Iquitos at the North east. Work includes like feeding a baby manatee, monitoring manatees in its rehabilitation, cleaning the man-made lakes, measure and weigh, prepare formula to provide the orphaned babies the nutrition they need etc.
6. Wildlife Reserve Volunteer Program
The Wildlife Project is situated approximately 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth. Duties you have to perform like Lion tracking and monitoring , Tree planting and landscaping ,Game drives ,Predator interaction and caring ,Wilderness trail walks and patrols etc.
7. Elephant Camp Volunteer Program
In an Elephant Welfare Project elephants are kept and treated for any ailments, feeding and taking good care of them. It is located in the Kaegalle District of Sri Lanka .Volunteers can also visit ancient royal city of Kandy on their weekends to Colombo.
8. Volunteer at an Animal Rescue Center
The program is located in Singapore, one of the most popular tourist destination in the world. The aim of this project is to improve the living conditions and welfare of animals.
