Please read over the agenda and put some thought into each area. We are open to suggestions,

improvements, and changes you come up with, and would love to hear them as we go through the

list at the meeting, or by email response.

• Introduction of club logo

• Move forward on design touch up and digitize

III. Retouch on Membership Involvement

• Members with 2/3 club participation get priority (make up point system by

attending activities such as family dinners, movie nights, planning trips, e-mailing

ideas, or any other participation)

IV. Legal Issues

• Legal Forms

- Waiver of liability

- Voluntary medical information

V. Event Planning

• We need to start developing a system of forms and procedures to help people

plan for events

• Set up a committee

VI. November Trip Calendar

• Big Sur November 15th

Needs a location and a planner

• There are still a few weekends in November that are still open for trips/events to

be planned, which will take place at the meeting. Free weekends for November

are 8th

-9th

and 22nd

-24th

. Here are a few possibilities:

- Grand Canyon - Day hikes

- Surf trip - Kayaking

-Pismo Beach (Off Road)

• We would also like to have members start planning recurring weekly events

such as wilderness movie nights and family dinners, which would both need

locations to be hosted at. We can rotate to different locations each week, but we’d

like to have a calendar set up in advance to follow and for preparation purposes.

VII. Special Expertise

• Right now we are seeking out anyone that has specialties or talents in a few

particular areas to help us, including: - Writing/note taking skills for recording meeting minutes

- Set up committee

- Working with and registering as non-profit organization - Trip planning

- Set up committee

- Legal for forms and insurance (Don Degree, Margret Brewer, Nelson

Makamakamoto)

- Web design
