Okay, come on girls, we all want to get
married at some point. Well most of us do
anyway. We want that rush and more
importantly we want that ring! We want
that gorgeous ring that we can wear on our
finger and show off to our friends. And let's
be honest here we all show it off in hopes
that our friends will be jealous of us and
want what we have. I mean there is no
point in denying it. We,as women, for the
most part tend to get that way. It gives us
that rush. And what better way to carry that
feeling then with an oval cut engagement
ring. When we wear that ring it says "Hey,
I'm off the market, finally!"
So what is it about the oval cut
engagement ring that makes our hearts
soar the way they do?
Well Oval cut engagement rings have been
around for the longest time. Oval cut
engagement rings are a slight alteration of
the Round Brilliance cut diamond. The
originator for the oval cut was done by
Lazare Kaplan in 1960. Kaplan came from a
family of brilliant jewelers, but his specialty
lied in ironing out the rough spots to make
sure that the diamond cut and remove all of
the flaws. He was so good that he was able
to go to other jewelers and buff their
diamonds too. He would take other
diamonds, that they said were imperfect,
and the remove the flaws from them as
well. In 1960 Kaplan was able to create his
own diamond cut that was in an oval shape.
He was made it so perfect and flawless, that
he was eventually placed into the Hall of
Fame for his diamond contributions.
Kaplan worked very closely with his uncle in
order to create the perfect shape and cut.
Now the great thing about the oval cut
diamond ring doesn't just lie in its cut.
There is also a brilliance and clarity that has
arguably never been matched.
This is why the oval cut engagement ring
has become so widely popular among many
the world over. And it's not just adored by
women. There are men out there who will
only go to a jeweler who carries this type of
cut and ring. This ring in many respects has
not been matched and continues to remain
that way. This ring has become very popular
when it comes to engagements and
anniversaries. When you look at the
diamond closely the clarity is unrivaled and
it's so clear. And this is solely due to that
fact that there aren't any imperfections to
this ring. If you find any imperfections than
it's not a real oval cut diamond. That is why
you should only speak to an experienced
jeweler when inquiring about this ring.
So ladies, when the time comes to get
engaged and married make sure your
boyfriend only gets you one of these rings.
Because it's the only ring that will do.
