Why Should I Evangelize?Seven Reasons to Share the Gospel

Preaching the Gospel is a

privilege that only persons who have received Jesus as

our personal Savior can genuinely

experience.

Unfortunately most of the Christians that worship God

passionately seem to believe that evangelizing is a duty that belongs

to “someone else”

Let’s consider the reasons why evangelizing should be among our greatest priorities.

BECAUSE THE SOULS ARE LOST.I Must Evangelize…

Because the Souls are Lost.

• John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.

• John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son

Because the Souls are Lost.Revelation 20:11-15 Then I saw a great white throne

and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

BECAUSE GOD GAVE ME THAT COMMANDMENT

I Must Evangelize…

Because God Gave me that Commandment

• Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

• Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

BECAUSE GOD WILL DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY FROM ME

I Must Evangelize…

Because God Demands my Accountability

Ezekiel 3:17-21 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked man, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. "Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself."

Because I Love GodJohn 21:15-17 When they had finished eating, Jesus

said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.”

Because I Love God• 1 John 4:20-21 If anyone says, "I love God," yet

hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

• 1 John 3:14-16 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

Saved Souls Are My Inheritance

• Genesis 15:5-6 He took him outside and said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

WE ALL MUST EVANGELIZE

An important job had to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would

do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about

that because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought that Anybody could do

it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what

Anybody could have done.

If you refuse to be your brother’s keeper, you become your brother’s

butcher.• Romans 10:14 How, then,

can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
