• WE OPPRESS, EXPLOIT AND NEGLECT THEM

An estimated 670 million children live in abject

poverty, 37% of all children

100 million children live on the streets of the cities of the world

There are 10 million child prostitutes with an

estimated one million more children added each year to this vile

trade

One third of children have to live in dwellings with more than five people

per room

Over half a billion children have no toilet facilities

134 million children have no access to school

246 million children work; and 171 million of those are engaged in the worst

forms of child labour

It is adults who sell their children into the child sex trade, and adults who use their services; adults who force or allow children to work or fight adult wars;

adults who abuse, neglect and devalue children
