why is it important to learn history

Why is it important to learn History? Studying history we have the possibility to “answer” ourselves “Why”, which is the greatest question humanity has ever asked. Why is this happening now?, Why does politics, religion or humanity evolve this way?. Why things are the way they are, and not in other way. History helps us understand the behavior of civilizations, How they used to live? In Who or What did they believe? Even with history we can figure out the reason of peoples to be where they are settled; was it the location, the ground, the weather?. What they ate?, What tools, strategies or skills they needed to get their food?, Which of those we continue using and Why?, We learn all about our present knowing the past, studying it. History is the record of our past

Why is it important to learn History? Studying history we have the possibility to answer ourselves Why, which is the greatest question humanity has ever asked.

It is highly important because allow us to create our own minds about different events, even though we wasnt there, because it is a written science, so we can compare and analyze it with different sources, (being well aware that theres always going to be two sides); and off course, not make the same mistakes were made in the past.History has taught us that greatness in humankind is not (always) going to be found in great palaces, or in the most schooled (and for not being schooled I dont mean ignorant) or wealthy people; Instead of it, is in those with the most humble houses or clothes, but great golden hearts where a fearless spirit resides, willing to help others no matter the consequences, always being there for the ones who have nothing. It has taught us that you dont need an army with thousands of men to conquer, to change the world, to change peoples minds.
