Why did Undocumented Immigrants Failed to get Obamacare - Even after giving a try Across the country nearly about thousands of undocumented immigrants who signed for the health coverage, which is federally subsidized are refused by the government for private insurance because of their eligibility status. Federally subsidized health comes under the affordable care act. Affordable Care Act (ACA) is also called the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) Usually this act is amended to protect lower income Americans and to bring various improvements in medical facilities. Some of its advantages:- 1) Improves the Quality of medical facilities 2) Expands the medical coverage 3) Lowers the health care cost 4) Helps in getting proper values from the insurance company 5) Makes the health care facilities easy to avail But its biggest drawback is that it is not available for the undocumented immigrants, it is only eligible for American citizens and for those who are registered. They also should be subsidize and a way should be also made for them basically the problem is lack of documentation for verification and improper information about the income and earnings. This issue came into notice when the health insurance company Humana HUM disclosed that in its report of quarterly earnings the individual commercial membership is dropped 11% that is probably because of the loss of around many members because the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) terminated them from getting Obamacare.

Why did Undocumented Immigrants Failed to get Obamacare - Even after giving a tryAcross the country nearly about thousands of undocumented immigrants who signed for the health coverage, which is federally subsidized are refused by the government for private insurance because of their eligibility status. Federally subsidized health comes under the affordable care act.

Affordable Care Act (ACA) is also called the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)

Usually this act is amended to protect lower income Americans and to bring various improvements in medical facilities.

Some of its advantages:-

1) Improves the Quality of medical facilities

2) Expands the medical coverage

3) Lowers the health care cost

4) Helps in getting proper values from the insurance company

5) Makes the health care facilities easy to avail

But its biggest drawback is that it is not available for the undocumented immigrants, it is only eligible for American citizens and for those who are registered.

It is difficult to say that the claims are actually paid for undocumented immigrants by the government for any period of time.

To resolve this issue there is need for matching the data which require time of minimum three months.

According to health care companies like Humana the federal market place is responsible for the determining applicant’s eligibility and to give information about the individuals who enroll on the basis of the determination.

Not only Humana but many other companies face similar issues.

It is important to make a way for undocumented immigrants so that they too can easily afford the health care facilities and when it comes to life threatening diseases like cancer where there is a requirement of good amount of money these types of government policies are always needed by the low income family and health and life is the most important thing especially for the developed countries like America.
