At the same time, for the fun of it andbecause it was always a lifelong dream, she started fiddling around with actingand singing – taking classes, doing workshop productions, etc.

In 1986, she was inspired to move to San Francisco to work for a non-profitwhose work she had been supporting as a volunteer while in New York. Themain focus of this organization was to produce a transformational interventionfor youth-at-risk. She came on as their finance manager – it was back at num-bers, but for a great cause. During the next 10 years, she shifted from financemanagement, to professional meeting planning, to executive administration inthe field of investment banking. All the time, the constant in her life was thetheater – acting in community theater, singing, hosting performance events, etc.

In 2001, she made a giant leap – she quit her day job, recorded her first CD andstarted performing seriously for the first time in her life. She has since touredwith her solo shows, currently teaches stage presence skills and performancetechnique to singers, and is recording her second CD. Her first CD was hon-ored as one of the top 10 female vocalist CDs in 2003 by Cabaret HotlineOnline, a New York-based trade organization.
