home. Candice and I had the

hardest time finding

something that worked for us

and our little one. They never

gave up or quit trying to help.

Risa, our Century 21 agent, knew

everything there was to know

about the different markets and

introduced us to the

neighborhood we ended up

buying into.

Century 21 did such a great job

with helping us find and finance

our home. We don’t know what

we’d do without Risa and the

Century 21 team.

Dylan. Frankie. Ken. Jason. Alex. Isaac. Jose. Those are the names that make up the group. I co-lead a small group with Jake. Each one of them brings a different ele-ment to the group and I’m blessed to be a part of. I’ve been hanging out and meeting with these guys since the semester began and it’s been a blast each time we’ve met. I wouldn’t call myself or Jake leaders of the group, but more of discussion facilitators. Each week we dive into a new chap-ter of Francis Chan’s Forgotten God. This book has opened up a new realm of spirituality. Of-ten, the Holy Spirit is left on the backburner, hence the book title. Chan starts the book by defin-ing the Holy Spirit and if present, how the Holy Spirit should take a role in our lives. We are cur-rently in the middle chapters and excited as ever to hold each other accountable for reading and ap-plying this book to our lives as Christ followers.

This is my senior year at Oklahoma State University. It’s been a long road, but definitely not boring. There have been many left and right turns, one-ways and no outlets, none-the-less great times. During my growth at Oklahoma State, I have gained friends and acquaintances, study partners and group members, but my close friends have definitely shaped/molded me to who I am today. As I look back over the years, I’ve definitely made my mark on the Cowboy campus, participating in clubs and events such as the Creating Lightning Awards, AdClub, PRSSA, and the Multicul-tural Engineering Program. Not to mention extracurricular activities like Into The Streets, The Ducks flag football squad, and an ultimate Frisbee team. I’ve also managed to maintain a part-time job in the process. I am currently in the process of designing the next logo for the School of Media and Strategic Communications. These past years have been some of the greatest and worst times, but I don’t regret any one of them. As I ponder in thought, I think of all the amaz-ing things done and all the amazing things to come.

You can catch me at all the main sporting events, but namely Cowboy football. Since my freshman year, I’ve bought season football tickets and this year is no differ-ent. This season, when critics and sports analysts predicted no hope for the Cowboy football team, they proved them wrong. It’s a great year to be a Cowboy fanatic. Our Cow-boy squad is now 10-2 and dominating the Big 12 South in conference play. Tailgating, gameday orange shirts and waving wheat is all a part my tradition when its time for

the Pokes to take the field. But it’s not all about tradition. This year, my Advanced Public Relations Media class wanted to create something new and exciting for students and alumni alike to buzz about. We had an agenda: Pro-mote the Oklahoma State School of Media and Strategic Communications name change on Cowboy gameday. Take a look at how that was accomplished. http://youtube.com/okstateflashmob
