Bernadette Robinson in ConcertExperience an unforgettable concert of songs made famous by Edith Piaf, Judy Garland, Billie Holiday and more when Australian stage superstar Bernadette Robinson makes her debut at the Whitehorse Centre, accompanied on piano by Paul Noonan. Following her sold-out, critically acclaimed one-woman play Songs for Nobodies, Bernadette will delight audiences with outrageous representations of well-known stars of stage and screen, as well as contemporary songs in her 'own' voice. They’re Playing Our SongWhen wisecracking composer Vernon Gersch invites offbeat lyricist Sonia Walsk to his luxury Manhattan apartment the meeting uncovers two very different personalities. He is aloof and focused, while she is disorganised and distracted – but as he has already written music to one of Sonia's lyrics, they decide to forge ahead. When it comes to making music, they’re a match made in heaven. Is this relationship doomed.... or will love hit the right note? This romantic comedy is based on the real-life relationship of composer Marvin Hamlisch and lyricist Carole Bayer Sager.
