As the debate rages over the obvious advantages of 29” Wheeled MTB’s versus the old school feel of their 26” ancestors, we at Whistle have presented a 2013 line-up of 29’ers to compete with the best.

Ideal for tall riders & perfect for an easier ride over bumpy terrain our 2nd generation of 29’ers will offer a totally different riding experience compared to 26” wheel MTB’s. With different frame geometry & longer chainstays & seatstays giving a longer wheelbase these bikes just cruise over rough terrain . Indeed they suit riders of all sizes & several of the best women riders in the world are having great success on 29” wheel models in major cross country events. Of necessity 29” bikes are heavier than 26” if specifications are similar. But the easier handling of uneven surfaces outweigh the weight differences.

It’s all a matter of personal choice so for 2013 we offer four model options in 29” versus six in 26”. This mix reflects our belief that the 29’er market is rapidly catching up on 26”.
