JUMEIRAH GOLF ESTATES

LOCATION

JGE is at the heart of New Dubai, located in the Jebel Ali district on the south side of Emirates Highway, opposite Jumeirah Village. The Estate lays approximately 22 km south-west of Dubai City Centr within a half-hour’s drive of Dubai International Airport and few minutes drive from Dubai Marina and major business districts of Dubai Internet and Media City. Surrounding development are The Green Community, Dubai Sport City, Lost City and Jumeirah Village.

JGE PHASES

JGE current development is consist of Phase A. Phase B & C are future developments that may be developed in pipeline. JGE Phase A consists of 2 golf courses Fire & Earth designed by Greg Norman.

SIZE OF THE DEVELOPMENT

Phase A consist of 375 hectares of total 1,119 hectare land parcel, and incorporates 13 planned residential communities, comprising more than 1,000 individual properties. Phase A consists of 1050 villas, spread out over 13 different residential communities. 75% of all properties face the golf courses, with the remainder facing lakes and nature strips.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRINCIPLES

JGE follows eco-friendly and environmentally sound principles and practices. We develop courses that ac-tively benefit the environment. Greg Norman’s 2 golf courses are developed according to ‘eco-signature’ guidelines.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Infrastructure is provided to all properties including serviced plots. The DEWA substation is currently completed and taken over by DEWA. Water and electricity are now available.

COMPLETION DATE

Phase A of the development is under construction, with the Fire and Earth courses fully developed and functional since 2009. The residential villas are well under construction. Whispering Pines district is now ready for handover and the remaining districts will follow.
