Humans have evolved with nature. Living in the wild was hard, so first humans used their intelligence to get the natural things around them as stones and sticks and transform them for their help to survive. It was the beginning of Technology, thanks to Technology humans could do things that they weren't naturally prepared to do.

THE PROJECT METHOD

Technology education includes many other subjects and how to apply them to solve real problems. Students feel that it could be useful to study. Improves motivation.

It's different from other subjects, specific place (the workshop), different methodology.

Students learn that working in groups is difficult and they learn how to negotiate and listen to different ideas

It's focused on practice, deals with doing and making things to understand them.

Many times students, especially girls, only have this opportunity to get to know how to use tools.
