What is a Neighbourhood Plan?It is a plan to direct the future development of land in Little Aston ward
Part of the development planPolicy for determining planning applicationsHas the same status as the Local Plan
IT WILL HAVE TEETHThe small printThis is the communitys plan, it seeks to deliver what you want but it does not automatically mean everything the community wants can go into the planLandowners, developers, Lichfield DC have a sayPlans must be deliverableThe small printCannot use the plan to say no
The plan is not about concreting over Little Astonbut it is not about stopping what is already planned eitherUltimately a good plan recognises the needs of all and can manage changeWhat happens if we dont produce a plan?Who knows? But you will have very little say in itOnly the District Councils plan will be used to determine applications in Little Aston
