Dear Students, The Student Career Development Team would like to remind you that one of the GUC’s prerequisites for graduation is to finalize required Internship period. Kindly be informed that each student is held responsible for submitting his/her original (stamped) Internship Certificate and the attached Evaluation Form (+ copy of each). Please ensure to submit required internship doc. after performing your internship, in order to avoid any complications in your graduation process. Please note: that the employer’s evaluation is necessary for accepting your internship Employers…Evaluate Interns!At the end of the internship, Employers evaluate the students performance by completing an Evaluation Form for each intern providing feedback on the intern’s overall performance, technical and non-technical skills, initiative, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as planning and organizational abilities. The Internship program is Obligatory; it is part of the curriculum. Internship must be related to your field of study All students are eligible to start an internship after the finalization of the fourth
semester
The Internship duration varies according to the faculty
Faculty Required Duration Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology 6 weeksFaculty of Applied Sciences and Arts 12 weeksFaculty of Engineering 12 weeksFaculty of Management Technology 6 weeks
For Engineering & Applied Arts; four weeks should be performed consecutively
per each internship
For Pharmacy & Management Faculty, note that you may conduct the full six weeks consecutive or divide the period as follows: 4 consecutive weeks 2 consecutive weeks
