  2. 2. Q Magazine Adele front coverThe letter Q, which is the mastheadis very visible and is placed in the lefthand corner of this magazine. Thiswill inform readers that this magazineis called Q. The cover line saysAdele which shows that themagazines main article is about Adeleor could be an interview with her. Thiscover line is placed at the bottom ofthe front cover and is in a bold, whitefont which stands out. There is aquote which Adele may have said inthe main article interview placedabove the main cover line. Moreoverthe additional cover lines are placeddown the left hand side of this frontcover. They are all in the colours ofred and black and they are all in thesame font type. The image used of
  3. 3. Q Magazine Noel Gallagher frontcoverYou can tell from this front cover that this is a Qmagazine as well. This is because of themassive Q in the top left hand corner, which isthe masthead. The main cover line from thisfront cover is Noel. This is who the mainmagazine interview/article is about and thereforeinforms the reader this. This is very much thesame as the Q magazine in the previous slideas it is in the same white font type. It is alsoplaced at the bottom of the front cover. Inaddition, it has a quote which Noel may havesaid in the main articles interview. This is verysimilar to the magazine in the previous slide as ithas been placed just above the main cover line.Similarly, the additional cover lines have beenplaced down the left hand side of the front cover,however these additional cover lines are in thecolour white, unlike the ones in the magazine inthe previous slide. Just like in the magazine inthe previous slide the image they have used of
  4. 4. Q Magazine Kate Bush frontcoverJust like in the magazines in the previousslides, the masthead of this magazine Q isplaced on the top left hand side of this frontcover. The main cover line of this magazine isKate Bush which has been placed in thesame way as the magazines in the previousslides; the bottom of the front cover. Howeverthis magazine does not have a quote thatKate Bush has said in her interview in themain article of this magazine like the othermagazines in the previous slides did.Furthermore the additional cover lines havebeen placed down the left hand side like theother magazines in the previous slides havein the same column-styled way. Like themagazine in the previous slide all theadditional cover lines are in the same colourwhite but are in a different font size than theother magazines. The image of Kate Bushthey have decided to use is a close up shot of

The masthead of the letter Q is themain giveaway that these are the same magazines.Also, the main cover lines are all the same colourand placed in the same way; at the bottom of thepage. Furthermore the additional cover lines are allplaced down the left hand side in the same column-styledway. Although in not all 3 magazines are theythe same colour. The images of the artists are allclose up shots of their faces. In many ways, Qmagazine has a traditional style of front cover they
