What has happened to “We The People?” I am a single 32 year old woman and i find myself constantly saddened and frustrated over the State of our Union. What has happened to "We the People” It has become more like "We the Peons." Our Founding Fathers gave their lives so that we could have better ones. They fought for Freedom, for Choice, for Justice and Mercy and for the Foundation of our Country, the United States of America. They believed in God and in the power of unity. Now, in the name of Freedom, Unity and even God, our current administration has taken what we stand for as a Country and divided us as individuals. The United States of America has a tradition of coming together in times of crisis. Well, we are in a crisis and we are more divided than ever and it's time to stop the division, time to stop the madness that has taken over Washington and time to stop the lies! Wall Street didn't force us into debt, we allowed them to. There is no easy way out but there is a way and it requires every man, woman and child to get us back to a Country that stands United. If we do not take swift action, divided we will continue to fall. The White House, Capital, Treasury, etc sit within a mile of the monuments they claim to revere yet those who swore to protect what those very monuments stand for continue to defile it. Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Tea Party's, etc it doesn't matter. None of these party's have managed to save America because titles divide us. Change will only occur when each of us put aside our political differences and come together for a greater cause, The United States of America. Washington will never solve this crisis, Congress will never solve this crisis, and Republicans, Democrats, Independent's, and Tea Parties will NEVER solve this crisis, but "We the People" can. We must stand and participate as individuals to become united and solve the crises we face. From Terrorism to Trillions of Debt, from War's to Wall Street corruption, the answer is inscribed on every dollar bill, and only "We The People" can save our Country and stop the mounting debt, the War's, and the division that engulf our Nation. The solution is simple and our Founding Fathers knew that, which is why they gave their lives for our future. Isn't it time for us to do the same for our children's future? Thousands of Soldiers gave their lives so unselfishly so that we could be safe and free from the threats of Terrorism. We can argue over whether we should have gone to War and continue to blame the War on Iraq on the past administration until we die but that accomplishes nothing. The War in Iraq has recently ended yet ironically we are still at war with each other. Each party blaming the other or defending the reasons we even went to

Sadly, thousands of lives were lost in the War in Iraq but they were not and will NOT be lost in vain if we can come together and recognize that "WE" have the power to end the War that wages amongst each other here in this Nation.

I challenge each of you to take 5 minutes and read the Constitution or take 5 minutes and think deeply about one the simple yet sacred phrase: "UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL."

I know what I am going to do, what are you going to do? We can not waste time deciding, we must decide and act now. Stand for something, Stand for anything, Just Stand!
