What will be affected if your character always dies when running a
Diablo 3 bot
The advantage of playing Diablo 2 was that there were not many drops in any of the acts and you did not
lose much gold that you had so painstakingly gathered.
To cite instances, the lower level unique as well as legendaries you found in Act 1 of Hell mode had their
value. You also could easily find the Stones of Jordan even in the Nightmare mode. Finding other runes like
Ohm was possible at any time and your character did not suffer any loss of value.
But in Diablo 3, the recipes only can fit the requirement of the drop and even here, the only closest thing
you can go for are the Flawless Square gems. But since they have lost their value because of Dank Cellar
farming, there is a need to create one more gem tier – something like the 14 gem with one rare drop.
Things like this would make the progression of characters easier and more guaranteed in Diablo 3.
But one of the main reasons in the first place as to why Diablo 3 is not becoming as popular is the fact that
character progression is so difficult. You will find that you cannot make your characters progress very
quickly in Diablo 3 and frustration can soon set in. This is where many players quit the game. Considering
that whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, the fact that you are able to hit the progression
cap at various places and cannot make much progress from there means that the interest in the game gets
reduced.
In Diablo 3, many of the players hit the progression cap by the time they reach Act 3 of the Hell mode and
Act 2 of the Inferno mode. This depends on their skill and experience but for most players, the need to get
more gear in order to progress beyond Act 3 in the Inferno mode becomes a compulsion.
This is when they log into the auction house and check out if they can get high caliber gear so that they can
go through Act 2 without having to skip the champion packs that they are going to need. This is when they
either quit in frustration or make an attempt to farm all gold they can get in order to buy equipment. They
realize their attempt is a futile one and then quit the game.
The only way you could make characters progress in Diablo 3 was through leveling up. While you took a
long time to hit the 99 level after spending a long time at the 70 level, at least you felt you were making
progress. It is therefore necessary to introduce some leveling system beyond 60 and make it difficult to hit
the maximum cap. This would make the game interesting and if they can introduce bonuses for players, it
would kindle interest in the game.
The good thing in Diablo 3 is that you can respawn and carry on with the game. This along with the
measures suggested above should help revive interest in players.
