Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children

• Trains children with special needs aged 1-6 to reach important milestones in their development.

• Ages 1-6 critical window for child development

• With early diagnosis and intervention, they learn to manage and overcome their disability, communication or learning disorders such as autism and dyslexia

• It was about 1,400 just a few years ago• Exponential growth in teachers as well.

Doubled from 90 a few years ago to 190 now• Number needs to double again by 2015
