What Do You Want?

What each of us want is to fulfill our life purpose through conscious choice and action driven by the calling of our soul andhighest purpose, not the momentary needs of the mind and ego. When someone asks you what you want, do you reallyhave any idea? Or do you just say what you think you should want?

If you are honest with yourself you will notice that it is easier to know what you don’t want rather than what you truly wantdeep in your heart. The reason is that the mind decides what you want based on what is practical or available or acceptableand does not refer to any deeper feelings that may be deemed as foolish or embarrassing.

What we want throughout our lives is often not based on our deepest needs within each chakra and soul to fulfill our lifepurpose at every level. All of the 12 Gateways of Consciousness are magnetic energy systems that pull to you, and youtoward, living your life purpose in every moment. Your environment is always full of whatever you are here to connect withand express your extraordinary gifts through. The only thing that stops you is being disconnected from your real needs andlife callings.

Your greatest inner need is to come in contact with and express your authentic self. To do that you must manage theexternal circumstances of your life as they come to you. You need to ask for and reach for what you truly want and let go ofwhat does not feed your authentic self, even if the first chakra tribal rules are not written that way.

Our soul needs are very simple and run along the chakras.

1. We need to have our basic survival needs taken care of: home, food, water, clothing, security financially and socially.

2. We want to have pleasure through touch, holding and playful connection.

3. We want to be special in the eyes of others and be seen as amazing and be validated as we show others how uniquewe truly are.

4. We want to feel loved, tenderness, compassion, forgiveness and reverence, and share those amazing feelings withfamily and friends.

5. We want to be talked to and listened to and be able to share our dreams, feelings and creativity with others openlyand be supported and encouraged to create even more.

6. We want to be able to see the beauty in ourselves through looking in the eyes of others and know that we are rightwhere we are supposed to be. And offer others the same gift.

7. We want to feel connected to a higher power that our consciousness is somehow mysteriously linked to.

8. We want to know we have a physical life purpose that is perfectly matched to our bodies and our environment inevery moment.

Page 2: What Do You Want? · When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no one can give it to me so why bother

9. We want to know our highest calling in this lifetime as a spiritual life purpose that is not a job but a quality of internalpresence that makes us smile every time we touch it. We want to be able to honor the spiritual purpose in others.

10. We want to have the passion and courage to do what no other human being has ever done before; be our authenticselves.

11. We want to know without a shadow of doubt that we have a soul and that God exists.

12. We want to be able to see that God sparkle in every person’s eyes and in the eyes that stare you back in the mirror.

So when you are asked what you want, any of those energy centers that are open can speak your authentic needs as theycome into being in any moment. Just by saying them you should feel good and in your purpose in life, since one of yourhighest purposes is to send out your vibration in such a way that others can support you in living your life purpose. And inshowing that you have the deep need to fulfill and show your purpose, you allow others to do the same.

So why is it so hard to even utter one thing that you really want that is not just fulfilling an ego need, but instead serves yoursoul? Why do you feel the compulsion to qualify a simple statement that says, “I want you to see how amazing I am” or “Ialways wanted the smile on my mother’s face to be there because she loved me, and on my father’s face because he wasso proud of me.”

The reason you avoid saying those things is simple: Vows. Since your soul’s needs and callings were not met, or worse, they were outright rejected by your parents, you made a number of very powerful vows to simply block the feelings thatthose needs created in you. But those feelings were the link to your greatness, to fully being able to know who you are andwhy you are here on the planet. What it did was deny your real self. Over time, the vows you made disconnected you fromyour real needs that are the signposts to keep you on your life purpose journey. We only truly know ourselves through ourneeds as they arise.

But your vows to deny your real needs have made you a liar. It started out as a victimless crime to lie to yourself. But overtime all the people who come to you to be inspired by you have been hurt deeply. Instead of asking for what you neededfrom them you pretended you had no needs, or needed more than they could give. Either way you rejected them and you.Instead of showing them your vulnerability and secret gifts and how you courageously stand fully in your mission andpurpose, you showed them a smaller version of you. A version that you assumed they wanted to see, or one that would notmake them feel bad about themselves. Or, maybe you stood above them in judgment, aloof and alone, not with them, swimming in your fears, insecurities and false sense of power.

When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no onecan give it to me so why bother asking,” or you say “I just want others to listen to me because if they just do it my way wewould all be happier.” All lies.

The highest of all gifts we as human beings have been given by the creator is the gift of the “word.”(i.e. the creative force ofGod). We have the power to use this creative force for “Good” or “Evil.” Any time you speak your heart and soul’s truth, byasking for help or showing them your sacred specialness, you are using God’s gift for good and you live in heaven. Hideyour light under the bushel basket in any way, or distort your energy unconsciously through ego aggrandizement andisolation and you harness the forces of evil and live in hell.

So how do we stop lying to ourselves and others?

The fifth chakra’s demon is lies. To close the heart to the self leaves the mind in control of the voice. The mind’s job is toprotect its vision of you (your ego self) from rejection, annihilation, abandonment, betrayal, and being hurt in any way. It hascome up with a thousand ways to not ask for what you really want. You live your life more from fear and against what youdon’t want, rather than from trust and what you are for in your life.

To change this pattern is very simple. Open your mouth and speak a truth. Speak a real need. Show everyone you know areal part of you. Every truth you tell will cancel 100 of the lies you have told. Now keep in mind that you have told hundredsof thousands if not millions of lies without even knowing it, so to get the domino’s beginning to fall in your direction you betterstart today.

What Do You Want WorksheetQUESTION 1: WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT? Take few minutes and just write down what firstcomes to mind. What really feels pressing in your life right now?_________________________________________________________________________________

_________________________________________________________________________________

_________________________________________________________________________________

Once you have a good list, notice how many of the items are things and how many of the itemsrequires someone else to be different than they are or feel something toward you, or demands that lifebe different than it is. (Those kinds of wants are ego-based and are what distract you from yourneeds; they are not needs.)

GO TO THE SOURCE

What you did not ask for or get from your mother or father, that you blocked and denied needing, which over time blocked your ability to even want it, has become your internal language that blocksyou from living your life purpose. What was unsaid then now drives your primary addiction, lying to theworld about who you are and what you need.

QUESTION 2: WHAT DID YOU REALLY WANT FROM YOUR MOTHER? Take a few minutes andwrite down how you wished your relationship with your mother had been. Do not use her limitationsfor asking for less, your needs are real you have to ask for everything you needed. If you were thedirector of a movie and it was the perfect story of your relationship with her, what would it be?_________________________________________________________________________________

QUESTION 3: WHAT DID YOU REALLY WANT FROM YOUR FATHER? Take a few minutes andwrite down how you wished you relationship with your father had been. Do not use his limitations forasking for less, your needs are real you have to ask for everything you needed. If you were thedirector of a movie and it was the perfect story of your relationship with him, what would it be?_________________________________________________________________________________

SHARE: Share with everyone you know what you really wanted from your mother and father. Thenrealize that it is not too late to start asking for it. You will always want that from your mother and father. They represent how you need to be seen, heard, touched, loved, encouraged, read to, guided, heldaccountable, etc. They also represent how you need to be validated, understood and seen asimportant and amazing.

HINT: HOW TO LIVE YOU LIFE PURPOSE. These are your real needs, plain and simple. Theyguide you to see your core profile, your specific chakras, and how to make the choice to live your lifepurpose in every moment. You want the same thing from everyone and everything, to share your giftsand be loved for who you truly are. Speaking your hearts truth is not complicated but will take morecourage than anything else you will ever do.

Life Mastery Training Program Three

Practicum - Case StudyThe goal of this practicum is to take the theoretical knowledge you have learned as diagnostics and healings and apply it toa real life situation. Your objective is to choose a Practicum Assistant (volunteer client), do 8 sessions and then write up yourexperience to present to the class and your teachers.

The benefit to you is that it brings all you have learned in the past two years together into a real life example. It pulls thediagnostic tools we have learned (chakra and profiles) together and helps boosts confidence by practicing all we havelearned.

Instructions for the Sessions:

1. Choose a Practicum Assistant to work with for 8 sessions - meeting no more than once a week as your P.A. willneed time to process the work. This person should not be a friend or relative.

2. If you are already working doing healings and have a practice, this should not be a client you have already workedwith in the past, but someone new.

3. Explain to the Practicum Assistant that this is a set of practice sessions, and that this work is not something you willcharge money for.

4. Only use the assessment tools (i.e. chakras and profiles) and healings you’ve learned in this school. If you practicemassage, Reiki or other modalities, do not use them for these 8 sessions.

5. This is an opportunity to practice what you’ve learned - not a chance to “fix” someone. Use as many of the healingsyou’ve learned as possible and as appropriate.

6. Take notes on each session. (See below for the information you will need to record.)

7. Each healing needs a before and after pendulum or muscle testing reading as well as a healer write up form.

8. Use a different healing for each session. Be prepared to explain which healings you used and why. Rememberthat the Chakra Balance is the best healing for the first session.

9. Be prepared to give a spoken and written presentation by 4th class weekend. If we don’t get to all of them, we willdo the others the final class weekend.

10. The spoken presentation should be no more than 10 minutes long, time after for questions.

11. The presentation should include a written report that has all your notes, pendulum readings, healing write up forms, your observations and conclusions.

4. What did you notice about their chakras? Was there a consistent pattern? Was this in alignment with their characterstructure?

5. What healings did you use? What order? Why?

6. What were the PA’s psycho-spiritual issues (Louise Hay)? What were the PAs old and new thoughtpatterns/beliefs?

7. How did the treatment plan change over time?

8. How did the Practicum Assistant change over the course of the 8 sessions?

9. How did the pendulum readings support your assessment and treatment plan? What did the readings show youover the 8 sessions that you would not have picked up on just by doing healings?

10. What were the considerations for you as the healer? What mirrors did you note? Was there transference andcounter transference? What issues came up for you? Were you present, when did you leave and why?

11. Were you able to hold onto your authority and do the healing from your core or did you find your mask took over attimes? When?

Life Mastery Training ThreeConsciousness Goals and Personal Message

This year we are going to support you in setting 3 goals in a way you have never set goals before. The three are aninternal goal, and external goal and a group full class goal. Our goal in doing this exercise is to teach you to fullyclear on what inspires you about you, how to have the courage to share it with others and have the maturity to beable to pool your inspiration within a group and create something that is bigger than the sum of the parts. You mustset and accomplish these goals before the final class.

You have set millions of goals in your lifetime. Probably had 50 just today. From sitting, to standing, to laying down,to having a successful job, to drinking enough water, to being in shape, to saying something nice to your spouse, togetting even with someone, to have more enlightened relationships, etc. etc. Some you achieved others you did not.You use some to define yourself and give yourself an identity, others just for fun. Some you have learned from andlet go of if they don’t work out. Others, no matter how painful or unlikely it is that you will accomplish them, you justcan’t stop. And then there are the many goals that you “failed” at, and have shame around, that you drag with youmentally that you now let create excuses that let you avoid setting any real heart centered goals now.

Some goals come from the lower self that give you pleasure and have to do with people jobs and objects. Somegoals are from your higher self that give you a sense of spiritual unity that have to do with your sensitivity and deepinner sense of purpose. The most powerful goals are when the lower self and higher self come together and let youexperience a congruence in you that we call the core soul profile self. The goals you fail at are the goals notcongruent with your life purpose and profile.

So with the many goals you have every day, how do you know that you set an integrated core soul self-goal? Easy. The result of all core soul self-goals is always you! They lead to joy, passion, enthusiasm, love, connection, presence, and reveal a deeper sense of meaning in your life. The goal lets you fearlessly express who you are in the momentand you create enlightened relationships and you see what you do as a career in sharing your inspiration, not a job. They are never easy, but they reinforce a deep sense of purpose within you.

How do you know if it is not a real core self-goal? If your sense of ego self is diminished or enhanced by achieving orfailing at your goal, it is not a goal. If you are relieved that it’s over and you can go back to your life, like hitting aweight loss goal or a financial goal, that is not a real goal either. A real goal reveals to you, "yourself" undefended, humble and authentic. The belief that you can achieve any goal you set your mind to is lie that makes you suffer. Allgoals, just like chakras and archetypes must serve one master the core profile self, the soul. The goal is always toreveal to yourself and the world you authentic profile self. Try to be anyone else or any other profile leads toconfusion and unhappiness.

My goal for teaching you how to goal set in this manner is to give you the secret that every mystery school is basedon. If you are going to manifest the grace of God and be called to your life, you better have a pretty well refined toolto be able to accomplish that calling. Your body, chakras, Life Purpose and Soul points are that tools that you trainthrough goal setting to be that refined tool. They are the philosopher’s stone of alchemy that turns lead into gold.

Page 11: What Do You Want? · When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no one can give it to me so why bother

Page 2 of 3 Updated: 8-27-2015

There are two parts to this wonderful process:

1. First, a person who knows how to set and achieve goals in this way is utilizing the greatest gift spirit bestowson us, the ability to make conscious choices and focus their core energy life a laser beam.

To create conscious goals you need to develop 2 skills: 1) Know yourself. Feel who you are from the insideout with clarity of your profile, chakras and archetypes. 2) Feel the difference between an inner soul callingto your greatness and a mental want the you may be fixated on.

You have done 2 years of energetic work in this program to prepare you for this. Your ability to focus energyis being enhanced through the number of healings you have done, the places within yourself you have gonethat were in your shadow and are now part of your light, the energetic rituals you practiced, your ability tosee your core qualities, your defense, how your chakras speak to you through listening to the crystal bowls, your willingness to surrender to friendship/relationships as the highest spiritual path and guidance, andawakening to being a humble fallible human being. You have already been achieving core goals that we setforth for you in the program. You are now ready to use these skills to change your goals from being simply amental activity of trying to be something you are not, to being a soul activity that unifies your and lets yourdaily life become congruent with your true life purpose.

2. Second, a real goal should free you and call back the energy you have left in failed goals, relationships, things unsaid, competitions lost, promotions passed over, loss of love, disappointment, and choices youwish you had not made. What your mind sees as "failure" is actually a misperception of reality; it isimpossible to fail at anything. Goals simple tell who you are and what you have chakras for and what youdon’t have chakras for. You need to see past events that were traumatic financially, in your career, in yourlove relationships, in your health, etc. not as failures but great gifts that teach you who you truly are not whoyou think you should be.

Past "failures" act like heavy ball and chains attached to your ankles that you vow to never let go of so you"never" do that again. Through enough failure a person will eventually lower their expectations and minimizegoal setting or stop setting goals which lets their life and unconscious fears set their goals for them. That isliving in defense.

Once you know how to set a goal you will be able to see that goals can only be achieved if the goal is anaspect of who you already are. No matter what the goal, if it leads to a deep joy and self awareness it is areal goal. If you feel empty at the end of it, even if it succeeded materially it was just a mental attempt to besomething you are not.

A conscious goal that takes into account your profile, your chakras, lower and higher self, your life purpose(now!) and your soul becomes a focused laser beam that cannot fail. A goal should lead you to living in yoursecret place, not an "adult" life of comfort (even though a few comfort goals are fine).

One conscious goal can release many of your ball and chains since once you know who you really are, youwill not see the attempt to be an imposter as a failure and you can call back all that energy that you left inthe failed goal.

The setting and achieving of goals are what inspired living is all about. With this one skill the world no longerhas power over you, you become fully capable of being responsible for your life and a transformativeelement in the world.

How to Set Your 3rd Year Consciousness Goals

1. For the first two goals, the internal goal personal/relationship goal and the external self-expression/business goal, begin with a pad of paper or your computer and freely write down all the thingsyou really want (at least 20 things) that will take more than thinking about to accomplish. They must beactions, not ideas.

2. The internal goal is usually centered around your primary relationships and your relationship with your ownhealth and fitness. I highly suggest that you pick the relationship you are losing the most energy to right nowin your life. Relationship goals can have many subsets (starting one, leaving one, rebuilding one), or theycan be emotional (greater capacity for intimacy and compassion, or have a better sex life). Or they can beself-relational: physical (lose weight, run a marathon, have more energy), personal health (get over achronic illness, lower cholesterol, improve aerobic capacity, lower stress and blood pressure), and any goalsyou might have labeled totally selfish.

3. The external/business goal can be to start, leave or rebuild a business, and or champion a cause out inthe world or volunteer your time, or make more money, get something specific you have always wanted, something you want to write, create a product, speak about, create artistically, etc. Whatever it is, it shouldexpress that which you are the most inspired by in your life and that which you want to inspire the worldthrough.

4. The Group Goal will need each person in the group to begin with making personal list of all the things youthink the group could do together to make a difference in the world. Write them down. Then share them witha few classmates and see what their list looks like. Any similar ideas can be synthesized into a new largergoal. Then meet as a group and put the synthesized ideas together and have group discussions as to whatthe group as a whole wants and does that goal represent the energy of the group. The vote. No matter whatthe vote, invest your time and energy into making it amazing.

5. Then you must limit them down to the ones you think you can accomplish between now and the last class.

6. Now ask yourself which ones support’s you in embodying your core soul quality and your life purpose profileat the

7. Finally pick the two that bring up the most amount of fear but that you are not afraid to find out if you reallywant it or not. Any goal that you discover is not actually who you are will need to be walked away from. Ifyou are not ready to find out if your relationship or job is not part of your deepest life purpose don’t pick it.

8. Warning: do not pick “fluff” or “non-descript” goals, such as “I want inner peace or happiness” “I want amillion dollars” “I want to be me” - they will be rejected. They must be something you do in the world thatchallenges you to reach deeper in yourself than you have date. It must be personal and measurable andsomething that will hopefully take you to a new level of self-esteem and respect.

9. We will be running your goals through all the chakras and profiles this year to see if it truly is a goal for you.You will learn how to embrace and or walk away from a goal and what detachment means.

10. You will be learning to create your personal message and your business message from your Core Profilesand Big Why and will be making a Facebook video to solidify it and begin honing it. It will be lots of fun andeach of you will be able to work through it together.

11. Once you have your message it applies to everything in your life. It is the unbendable, non-negotiable partof you that you want everyone to see in every part of your life.

Life Mastery Training Program Negative Pleasure Vows of the Profiles (Fear No Evil)

THE MASK/EGO (DEFENSIVE PROFILE) IDEALIZED SELF Children all encounter disappointment, helplessness, and rejection, both real and imagined. These feelings create insecurity and lack of self-confidence, which they will attempt to find a solution for. They will naturally choose a solution that goes with their profile and they then try to make it fit in every situation. Of course when it doesn’t work, it triggers more fear and insecurity and hardens the resolve to make their solution that worked for some problems work for all problems. It becomes an idealized self that is disappointed and rejects the imperfect self, both real and imagined. To create this ideal self, all the feelings that go against it are denied. An idealized self-image may simultaneously demand a person on one hand to always be ruthlessly unselfish, so to gain love, and on the other hand, to be always selfish so to gain power. In addition one also has to be ruthlessly indifferent and aloof from all human emotions so as not to be disturbed or involved emotionally. This creates a huge conflict and rip in the soul, for whatever it does is wrong, inducing guilt, shame, inadequacy frustration and contempt for the true self. By choosing one single ideal way, they create a false self that is supposed to be good and perfect. It is false to think that the weak person is harmless and hurts others less than the domineering and aggressive person. All pseudo-solutions (defense and mask) bring untold pain to the self, as well as to others. By withdrawing, you reject others and withhold from them the love you want to give them and they want to give you. By submitting you do not love, but merely expect to be loved. You do not see that others too have their vulnerabilities and weaknesses and needs. You reject all of that part of their human nature, and thus hurt them. By the aggressive solution, you push people away and openly hurt them with false superiority. In all instances, you hurt others and thus inflict further hurt upon yourself. The hurt you inflict cannot help but bring consequences, and thus the pseudo-solutions intended to eliminate the original pain, only bring you more pain. The perfectionism of perfect Love, Power or Serenity is so deeply ingrained in you and in your idealized self image it makes it impossible for you to accept yourself and others, to accept life in its reality, and you are therefore incapable of coping with life and resolving life’s problems and your own problems as well. It causes you to forgo the experience of living in the true sense. In your profile your lower self has all of what is listed below under each heading. You naturally reject and deny most if not all of these as they were rejected as evil by your parents, friends and acquaintances. But the truth is when you look at your negative pleasures you will see that all of these are alive and well. They are simply justified and rationalized by your ego. TO COME INTO THE TRUE CURRENT OF “POWER, LOVE AND SERENITY” YOU WILL NEED TO ACCEPT THESE SHADOW QUALITIES ONE AT A TIME TO FREE YOURSELF FROM YOUR SELF MADE PRISON.

Page 16: What Do You Want? · When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no one can give it to me so why bother

MASK OF POWER – AGGRESSIVENESS: Enforcer defense, Rule Keeper defense This person believes that power and independence from others will solve everything. The growing child believes that the only way it can be safe is by becoming so strong and invulnerable, so independent and emotionless, that nothing and no one can touch them. They cut off connection to their emotions, and when their feelings emerge the child feels deeply ashamed. They consider their feelings, emotions and needs as weaknesses, actual or imagined. Love and goodness are also seen as weakness. Warmth, affection, communication and unselfishness of the submissive type are despicable acts of surrender. They will never surrender! ENFORCER: Liar, Self Will, Selfish, Self Righteous, Irrational, Cheater, Fighter, Narcissistic, Angry, Rageful, Seductive, Controlling, Walking Chaos, Psychopathic, Vain, Proud, Neurotic, Ruthless, Overbearing, Egoistical, Demonic, Broken, Chronic Disability, Life Sucking Vampire, Serial Killer, Bi-Polar, Insane, Addicted, Depressed, Irresponsible, Obsessed, Violent, Hypocrite, Egotistical, Victim to victimize, Sadistic, Self Righteous, Megalomaniac, Shape shifter, Envy, Hostile NEGATIVE PLEASURES:

Page 17: What Do You Want? · When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no one can give it to me so why bother

Page 3 of 5 Updated: 11-2-2015

NEGATIVE PLEASURES:

• Being aloof and withholding and above it all • Ruthlessly holding to the one true and “right” way, even if it hurts others • Being frustrated at others incompetence and dismissing them • Being ruthlessly self critical and never perfect • Being ruthlessly critical of others • Ruthlessly presenting a perfect spiritual or all knowing self • Knowing better than others and being demanding • Time is finite and applies to all situations • Being practical is not letting feelings interfere with judgment • I am the responsible one • I am the strong one • I am not selfish • I push my body like a machine; I expect others to do the same • Sex and love are separate • Being compulsively neat to appear perfect • I don’t need love to survive, I don’t need anything, I give love • I am materialistic but appropriate to my station in life • I am a woman who is not at the mercy of my feelings • I save others from themselves

MASK OF LOVE - SUBMISSIVENESS: Poor Me defense, People Pleaser defense ‘If only I would be loved, everything would be alright.” In trying to solve life’s problems with love they can hardly experience love at all. Choose to express themselves as weak, helpless, self-effacing, to gain love and protection, crawling to the point of selling their soul to receive approval, sympathy, help, and love (none of which is genuine). They want to be cared for emotionally, material goods and money mean little. Their lower-self uses fake weakness and over focuses on the needs of others as a weapon and means to finally win and master life and get others to do what they want.

POOR ME: Neurotic, Co-dependent, Needy, Demanding, Childlike, Helpless, Emotionally Excessive, Unstable, Powerless, Draining Vampire, Vulnerable, Selfish, Self Righteous, Narcissistic, Compulsive, Manipulative, Victim, Addict, Drama Addict, Pathetic, Blaming, Complaining, Pollyanna, Fearful, Irrational, Submissive, Meek, Defenseless, Self Absorbed NEGATIVE PLEASURES:

• Self pity, self effacing talk that is not genuine, in order to be loved • Ruthlessly controlling every emotional environment you are in • Being a woman means feeling everything all the time, even the pain • I am more evolved, spiritually and ethically than those who are aggressive

Page 4 of 5 Updated: 11-2-2015

• Others are heartless • Feeling overwhelmed and helpless • Being bitter and blaming others for how I feel • Crying to avoid anger • Talking to avoid feelings • Feeling unloved • Complaining about being over-tired, too emotional and not loved • Demanding love from rule keepers but know they can’t give it • Being non-violent and undefended, will martyr myself when needed • Raging against abusers and rapists

PEOPLE PLEASER: Resentful, Co-dependent, Resistant, Childlike, Spiteful, Victim, Self Hatred, Passive/Resistant, Angry, Self Flagellating, Self Sacrificing, Selfless, Brooding, Pleasureless, Stubborn, Obstinate, Submissive, Dense, Slow, Stuck Mentally, Masochistic, Martyr NEGATIVE PLEASURES:

• Being polite and a good girl • Ruthlessly giving more than others give and being resentful • Caring more about others than they do • Work hard before I get pleasure • Being a Martyr • Blame others for not having pleasure in life • Being responsible for others’ happiness • Never standing out and letting others shine, but not me • Good people care for others • Give everything, submitting to be loved and seen as good • Always tired of life • Blame and complain about being overworked • Silently brooding and being stuck • Aggressive anger explosion then feeling guilty and shamed for it

MASK OF SERENITY – WITHDRAWAL: Thinker defense and Rule Keeper Defense Though for the Thinker and Rule Keeper the state of dissociation is natural, in the serenity mask, they both see the folly of surrender and aggression and choose the mask of Serenity as the primary way to solve all of life problems. To choose the Serenity Mask is to choose to live in the upper chakras and fully dissociate from the reality of the Lower Self.

Page 19: What Do You Want? · When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no one can give it to me so why bother

All of the profiles may find a false safe harbor in this domain when fear of being real and human gets too great in relationships and the world. This is called the Spiritual mask. Poor Me’s to escape their feelings and be angelic, Enforcer’s to escape their violent and aggressive tendencies and appear godlike and beyond reproach, Rule Keeper’s to be above all imperfection, People Pleaser’s to deal with the conflict in themselves between submission and cruelty, and Thinkers to avoid their constant anxiety and literally live in another world. Underneath the withdrawal or false serenity, the soul is still torn in half but the person is no longer aware of it.

THINKER: Fear, Neurotic, Fantasy, Rejecting, Phobic, Naïve Faith, Avoiding, Aloof, Dissociated, Schizoid, Terrorized, Scattered, Spaced out, Loveless, Hateful, Powerless, Lost, Abandoning, Delusional, Conspiracy, Anxious, Internally critical, Perverse, Passive NEGATIVE PLEASURES:

• Ruthlessly not being present • Living in my fantasy world where total inner serenity is true and the world is wrong • Psychic skills and visions are more important than actions • Look benignly at other human beings’ good and bad qualities without being effected • Being fragmented and having lots of different focuses that keep me from accomplishing

anything • Life is unsafe, people are unsafe, the world is unsafe - I must be detached • I have rage and murderous thoughts that scare the hell out of me but I deny them • I want retribution for all the past abuse I have taken but will not speak up or act • Want to live in the spirit world, but I am chained in this limited material world • Always being late or on your own time • I am married to my ideas and creativity and need no one • The world is not real and people are not either • I am fearful and anxious for a million reasons but try not to feel any of them • Never break my internal flow of thinking, even in relationships • My ideas will save the world that is hopelessly lost

Healing Write-Up Form

Client Name: Date: Relationship to Client: ______________________________________________ Please write in paragraph form: S. Subjective: What is the client’s presenting complaint? What was the point of onset (i.e. ask when was the first time they ever had this issue, and ask when it triggered this time)? Ask what was happening in their lives at the time it first appeared and what is going on in their lives now? What profile body type and language can you see and hear during this discussion? What Chakra is the focus of their issue?

O. Objective: What healing did you do? (Please only write up the practice healing prescribed) What did you feel, hear or see in your body and sense in their body that stood out in your mind (from the beginning to the end of the healing)? What was your state of mind? (i.e. What was your running commentary in your head? How much energy did you have? Were you distracted?)

A. Assessment of Client: What was the client’s experience, in their own words? Make sure you ask them about their experience first before you offer any of your own. (Suggestibility after a healing is great so be careful to guide them toward their potential and core profile quality, and you can discuss the crazy past life you saw with your classmates.)

P. Personal Assessment: What aspect of you did the client mirror back to you? Were you triggered by them in any way, either pushing away or loved them to death? What did you experience spiritually?

Page 24: What Do You Want? · When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no one can give it to me so why bother

Pendulum Reading Please fill each box below, both before and after, and let your client know that you will be measuring after the healing as well. These are very important for you to see how your client holds their energy and then shifts when receiving from you. Use the notations in your student notebook to describe the pendulum readings. Answer the summary by seeing if you can relate the presenting complaint, the chakra readings, and both yours and the client’s experience. Muscle Testing Students in the 2nd and 3rd year of the program can use muscle testing to assess the chakras. The notations should be E - Excessive, D - Deficient, B - Balanced. Also make note what chakra it needs to connect with to come into balance by using the chakra number.

“Seeing” the Chakras Healing (Advanced Chakra Assessment Skills)

This healing uses the accumulation of all of your knowledge about chakras to help you assess which chakra needs a healing and which healing to use. The assessment will be a combination of:

• Physical/visual assessment (What does the client look like?) • Verbal questions about their presenting issue • Reading their energy and profile

Once you know what chakra you are going to work on, you will pick a healing from the list of healings by chakra. This process can and should be done every time you work on someone, and your assessment will change depending on what is up with the client at any given time. Being “seen” and acknowledged for who you really are is the primary healing gift. Before a healing, the healer’s ability to “see” or assess the state of the client’s chakras is essential in the choice of healing and a decision how best to therapeutically support them. No special psychic skills are needed, just a sensitivity and openness to the client and a deep understanding of what a chakra really is. The use of simple questions, visual assessment, listening to what is being said and not said, and sensate skills to see how present or withdrawn the client is, are the beginning of really “seeing” the client. Introduction To begin the assessment process, you want to establish what the client is coming to you for, each time, to find the presenting issue. Use simple statements and questions like:

• “It’s really nice to meet you. What would you like help with today?” • “Welcome! How are you? Where would you like to focus the energy work today?” • “What can I do for you today? What’s bringing you in for a session?” (Lisa’s favorite…) • “What do you need in your session today?” (They usually know!) • “If you could heal any aspect of your life right now in this session, what would it be?”

If they are in defense you will need to ask more questions to get to a real issue. Very often, their presenting issue may be covering over something deeper that they are unable to access in the moment or have resistance to looking at. For example, a concern about a physical issue may be the tip of the iceberg for a big emotional wound. The client complains of chest pains, sore back or a chronic issue and what the underlying issue is might be something like unresolved grief. Doing assessments is like detective work! Keep an open mind, don’t prejudge, and drop your expectations. Just stay curious, open hearted and grounded. If you do, you can follow the clues until you hit the bottom of the issue and then you know which chakra and which healing to do.

Page 26: What Do You Want? · When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no one can give it to me so why bother

Chakra One To “see” Chakra One, look at the entire body. What is it designed to do in the world? (Are they huge like a football player, or small and dainty?) How have they taken care of it? Do they have general good health and vitality? Any obvious physical characteristics? Pay attention to the legs and feet, since they are good indicator of the first chakra. Also the general mass of the body can help you figure out excessive and deficient first chakras. Notice tight or loose areas. Notice how dense or diffuse their body energy is. Where is the energy and density distributed? Head, shoulders, chest, upper arms, lower arms, belly, hips, upper legs, lower legs? How strong or weak do they appear? Is the energy of the body going up and out? Down and in? To the side or back? Is there a head tilt? Notice size and strength of hands. If they have their shoes off, what kind of feet do they have? Large, wide, long toes, flat, high arch, etc? How tightly do they hold their arms? Tight areas are related to both First Chakra as well as the chakra that it is closest to. Ask questions like:

• Are you having any problems physically? Are they chronic? When was the point of onset? What was happening in your life when you were injured or took ill?

• What does the doctor say is happening? • Do you take care of your self? How is your diet, exercise and sleep? • …and anything else you need to ask to get deeper into what is happening in their body.

To open the first chakra, do balance and grounding with them, holding hands or leaning into each other, or stomping feet, or bio-energetics. Use the Chakra Balance Healing to work on the first chakra. Chakra Two To “see” Chakra Two, you are going to evaluate their connection to their own emotional body. You are looking for how they manage their emotions. During the assessment and the initial conversation you can notice: are they overflowing with poor me emotions (excessive 2nd chakra), or exhibiting no emotions at all (deficient)? Also assess their level of passion, enthusiasm, holding, withdrawing, fearfulness, anxiety, longing, neediness, rigidity, aggression and control. The 2nd chakra holds all these qualities. To get this, you can ask them:

• How are you feeling right now? (Waaaaah! or… Feelings? What feelings?) • How have you been feeling lately? • How deeply are you affected by the attitude and feelings of others toward you or around you?

The Second Chakra is a dimension where the client will be struggling with addiction, co-dependence, sexual trauma, control issues, victim issues, and where most relationship struggles get played out. So you are on the lookout for these issues too.

Page 27: What Do You Want? · When someone asks you what you want, you say “Nothing,” or you say “Well what I would want to ask for is this, but no one can give it to me so why bother

Copyright © 2017 Rhys Method, Rhys Resources, LLC www.RhysThomasInstitute.com | [email protected] Page 3 of 6 4-26-2018

You can look at their hips and how they move them to see if this chakra is excessive or deficient. People with loose and wide hips will tend to be excessive while those with tight, narrow and rigid hips are deficient. To open the second chakra, have them go into a feeling they are having and then ask them to dive into it like in a pond and see how deep it goes and what it is telling them at a deeper level than their first reaction. Try these healings to balance the second chakra:

• Emotional Balance Healing • Fibromyalgia-Lyme Healing • Candida / Parasite Healing

Chakra Three To “see” Chakra Three, you are looking for their strength of character, their willingness to be seen as unique and their level of self-esteem. You can also assess this chakra based on their level of self-discipline and the ability to get things done. It’s good to hunt for people-pleasing tendencies here. This chakra will either submit to others (deficient) or try to bully and manage others (excessive). Ask them:

• How effective do you feel in your life and relationships right now? • How independent are you? • Do you feel that you sacrifice yourself for your relationships? • Do you feel successful or defeated in your life or life situation? • How is your self-esteem?

Good posture or slouching is a dead giveaway about excessive and deficient. Look at the core of their body - do they have their chest and belly out/forward and shoulders back? Or when they sit down, do they collapse in the middle? When chakra three is full, the client will have a confidence and an inner peace. When it is depleted or out of balance they will feel exhausted, or will feel put upon, or be hyper-vigilant and not trusting of others. Check in and see how they are with goal setting. Do they get things done and how do they get things done? If they can’t get anything done, it’s a weak and deficient 3rd chakra or if they are rigid and overly controlled it’s excessive. To open the third chakra, let them scream or hit, get them in a deep meditative state, or ask them to challenge themselves or get more rest to come into a better balance of internal power. Healings to open the third chakra:

• Spinal Support Healing • Stress Releasing (Adrenal-Endocrine) Healing • Chakra Rebuilding Healing

Chakra Four To “see” Chakra Four, you want to feel how warm your client is toward you and others or how distant or critical they are. You are also gaging their ability to love freely, both themselves and others. Notice how they talk about their relationships and families. When they talk about it, is it coming from their head or are they really feeling it? A client may say, “Family is the most important thing in my life,” and you can feel that one client is the family protector and the other just feels safe and loved in the family environment. Another client may say “Love is all there is,” and you can feel one client is full of love and the other feels like they never get enough. Also listen for how loving they are towards themselves. Intense self-criticism will sneak into their conversation if they feel it. Or they might talk about themselves with kindness and respect. Opening questions are:

• How are your relationships going? • How much love are you giving and how much are you getting in your life? • What have you done in the last week to nurture yourself?

Look at their chest. Is it sunken and hollow, shoulders rounded over the heart to protect it? Often you can feel the energetic “heart wall” which protects the heart and makes it feel hard and closed. To open the 4th chakra, have them talk about someone they love or when they feel the most loved by another. Healings for the heart chakra:

• Heart Spiral Healing • Past Life Healing

Chakra Five To “see” Chakra Five, make sure you listen first for the quality of their voice. Is it a squeaky mouse voice or the roar of a lion? As they talk listen for:

• Strain in the throat, avoided topics, clamming up, verbal releasing through constant talking with no thought behind it.

• Coughing and clearing the throat is often fear of speaking the truth. • Also notice how they listen. Are they interrupters or bad listeners?

Some good questions are:

• What do you really want? • Is it hard for you to ask for what you want? • How expressive are you?

Notice how easily they speak about the aspects of who they are. You can assess this whole chakra just by listening to the quality of their voice and what they say. To open the 5th chakra, use toning or bowls or get them to talk about something they love. Use the Chakra Balance Healing with crystal bowls playing to work on the fifth chakra.

Chakra Six To “see” Chakra Six, watch their eyes - are their eyes clear and in the present moment, or moving and looking off into the past or into the future? Since the 6th chakra is really their mind and how they see the world, you are looking for how they think and how tight of a grip their mind has on the rest of their system. To get a sense of their worldview and their place in it, ask them:

• How do you see your life and how do you fit into your own life? Listen to their story. Do they use wounding and excuses or get defensive and angry just thinking about their situation? Has the story of their life become their identity and defense? Has it created a fog around them that protects them from change by saying they don’t know who they are or what they want or rigidly know who they are? Is their mind open to new thoughts, or rigid shut down in a black and white way of thinking? You are looking for their mental self-image. Notice how they take in concepts and feel them or just quickly organize them in old mental patterns. Notice if their feelings are a result of how they are thinking or if their mind can let their feelings flow and support their release and awareness. Are they pigheaded? Or space-shot? Or somewhere on the spectrum in between? Do they have a spiritual mask that says “I really have already done so much work on myself there really isn’t any problem, and my guides have taught me most of what I need to learn. What are your guides telling you?” Ask them, “What do you think your life purpose is?” and you may get, “I don’t know” (the fog of the Sixth Chakra) or they may present an ego ideal of being all good and loving, some external event, a person or relationship, or accomplishment as their true life purpose. To open the 6th chakra, ask them to look you in the eyes and see if they can see what you are thinking, or tell you what is really happening in the room and if their current emotion is from their ideas or from reality. Healings to open the sixth chakra:

• Life Purpose Healing • Opening To Wisdom Healing

Chakra Seven To “see” Chakra Seven, look to see if they live in infinite possibility in each of the chakras. You are also going to assess them on the level of faith that they possess. Ask lots of questions to see how open they are to their unique mission, to infinite and unconditional love, to their infinite creative expression of themselves in the world and to their vision of who they are in a flowing universe. What are their beliefs about god and religion? Ask them:

• What is the biggest problem in your life right now? • How much faith do you have? • What’s your connection to God and/or religion?

If the 7th chakra is closed then they will have very little faith and a limited view of what might be possible for them. Healings for the seventhchakra:

• Life Purpose/Soul Healing • Opening To Wisdom Healing

Summary Once you have scanned the body this way, discuss an issue with them around the main wounded chakra and whether that is the primary issue they came to deal with today. Select a healing that you feel will support them in awakening to this issue. Play a few crystal bowls that match the primary chakras that need to be worked on and ask them where they feel them or what comes up. Go to the chakra before you begin your healing and muscle test to see what other chakras are going to be important in balancing the energy in that wounded chakra. All of the healings you have been taught support chakras in specific ways. Knowing which one to use begins with seeing the chakras. You do not have to discuss anything about chakras, you use the language of the chakra and you begin the healing while you talk. At the end of the healing, help them feel how they are in a different space and can experience their true self with no limitations. Suggest methods that can support them in holding their energy that way in the future, such as: deep breathing, chanting, using crystal bowls, meditation, bio-energetics, taking care of themselves, tapping, setting goals, talking out issues, embracing their profile, reading enlightened books, etc.

Life Mastery Training ThreeHow to Work with Clients in Defense

Identifying the Thinker/Creative Idealist

Presenting Complaint: Generally complains about having fears, spinning in their head, anxiety, they want to “get their lifetogether.” They will often have a very hard time making decisions.

Picking out the Thinker/Creative Idealist

Eye Contact: Look for the quality of eye contact. There is a general terror in the eyes, they will often have larger than normaleyes that appear to be daydreaming.

Body Observations: Energy is generally split, front / back, top / bottom, right / left where the parts don’t seem to go together.Energy is blocked at the base of the skull and often the head is tilted during conversation and over deep thought. They areusually tall or very thin and energy is vertically moving up through the body and head. They can be overweight but the senseis still that not of a heavy personal presence.

Energy Observations: Loose energy in joints, double jointed. They have fragmented energy and focus – can be flaky orspacey. They can be very stiff at the core and have bands of energy at the waist, diaphragm and the throat that blockaggression from rising all the way through the body to be expressed.

Grounding: Notice how they are not connected to the earth. Watch their feet when they walk. Ask them how often they bumpthemselves or find a bruise where they don’t remember how they got it.

Exercise: Have them bend at the waist and notice their tendency to tilt left or right.

Exercise: Bio-energetic – Have them laying on their back on the table and kicking. Notice any lack of coordination, disjointedness and / or inability to sustain activity.

Current Life Situation: They may have difficulty sustaining energy in conflict and crisis situations. Where they have to standup for themselves, they will have anxiety or check out and dissociate into other ideas and/or feel bored.

Early Life Situation that reinforces the defense: Often a traumatic birth or hostile mother in early childhood is present. Theyhave often suffered through an early illness. Also, there may be memories of night terrors, being lost, and disorientation.

Where the Client is Grounded: They are not grounded in the body or emotions, but in the mind and spirit. For them, beingpresent is when they are in their creative minds and linking it to the present moment.

Working with the Thinker/Creative Idealist

The Thinker/Creative Idealist will often present as out of body, scattered, hostile, or confused. In beginning to work with aperson in this defense, make sure you respect their ideas and/or their limitations. Create a personal relationship that theycan trust. Begin by entering through the mind, then do somatic

Touch is very important to get the Thinker / Creative Idealist to ground and be real. They often did not get a real nurturingtouch as children and need to be touched gently to release their core tension and fear of connection.

Exercise: Walk toward the client and let them tell you when to come closer or go away until you are as close as they canallow. Be aware of when the client wants to split or leave and keep eye contact to help them to safely stay present.

Exercise: Ground by moving ankles, wrists, jump up and down, stamp feet, stand on one foot, squat, bow and forward flop. After a number of sessions you will want to teach the client to hold their own charge by hitting and kicking while they lay ontheir back or pounding the healing table or couch with a tennis racquet (do not use this until they feel safe in the therapy).

They will often be angry that they have to deal with daily affairs that are mundane or boring. They may wonder why they areeven on the planet and need support to see their value in the things they do. You want to reinforce the client’s core soulqualities as a creative idealist as the primary self-expression that will lead to enjoying their lives.

Get them in touch with their highly advanced witness quality and teach them to communicate between the body, emotionsand witness that observes them without feeling.

Emergency panic work: have the client put their back against the wall, and press into it by moving feet away from the wall.Keep forced eye contact. Hold hands and squeeze. Have them focus on feeling their feet and legs and pressing on theground.
