Reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are maps on the soles of the feet and palms of hands which represent the human body. It is a very ancient science, as evidenced by inscriptions found in the physician’s tomb at Saqqara in Egypt, after which it was developed and spread all over the world. Reflexology is used by applying circular types of pressure on the specified reflexes found on the feet ,hands and ears. By that type of pressure you get, the vital energy stimulated within your body allows a smooth flow of energy. This will result in a more relaxed state of the body and mind which leads to a state of overall balance and “ wellbeing”. The principle of applying pressure on a painful area to eventually lessen the pains is something that was discovered in the early 1900s. Some doctors even applied that in some minor operations instead of anesthesia. Methodology: When applying pressure on different organ reflexes, the CNS receives signals and in turn stimulates the secretion of endorphins which lessen the pains and improves the mood. After regular sessions and due to the regular stimulation taking place as a result, reflexology has not only a relaxing effect but a healing effect as well. A session lasts from 45-60 min at an interval to be decided with the practitioner according to the complaints the person is suffering from and his/her overall health condition. Reflexology? Reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are maps on the soles of the feet and palms of hands which represent the human body.It is a very ancient science, as evidenced by inscriptions found in the physician’s tomb at Saqqara in Egypt, after which it was developed and spread all over the world.

Reflexology is used by applying circular types of pressure on the specified reflexes found on the feet ,hands and ears.By that type of pressure you get, the vital energy stimulated within your body allows a smooth flow of energy.

Methodology:When applying pressure on different organ reflexes, the CNS receives signals and in turn stimulates the secretion of endorphins which lessen the pains and improves the mood. After regular sessions and due to the regular stimulation taking place as a result, reflexology has not only a relaxing effect but a healing effect as well.

A session lasts from 45-60 min at an interval to be decided with the practitioner according to the complaints the person is suffering from and his/her overall health condition.
