2. The Qu’ran says Abraham was told by the angel to proclaim that everyone should go on pilgrimage to the Kaaba

3. The Black Stone that was given to Adam & Eve and Abraham by angel, is there

4. Mecca is where Mohammad was born, lived and preached, so it is special for Muslims

Just like Abraham did, Muslims sacrifice a sheep to show their gratefulness to God for all that He gives them.

Part of the meat is eaten and part given away the rest of it to the poor.
