MASTER OF CEREMONIES The Master of Ceremonies will guide the program at the WCHS Evening Grad Banquet.
CRITERIA FOR ASPIRING CANDIDATES: PLEASE…
• be a member of the 2018 graduating class, (receiving a diploma in 2017-18); • submit a brief one minute speech, describing yourself, along with your
application; • present your one minute speech during your audition; • be prepared to answer questions asked by teachers during your audition; and • request three short (3) teacher references completed by Western staff members
in at least two (2) separate areas of school life (e.g. academics, athletics, club involvement, etc.). Teachers can e-mail these directly to Ms. Olson. [email protected]
EVALUATION: Presentation • voice (audible, clear) • eye-contact • tempo • fluency • presence (posture, poise, confidence, etc.) NOTE:
1. We will work with you to polish your presentation once you have been selected as Master of Ceremonies.
2. The speech need not be memorized.
