Want a pastoral visit while in the hospital?
When being interviewed by the hospital admissions staff, it is not enough to say you’re Catholic. In order to be visited by clergy or lay minister, you need to identify yourself by
your parish. So, make sure that you tell admissions that you belong to St. Clare Parish. (They may not ask.) Do this whenever you register for anything at the hospital, as this will be on your permanent record until you tell them to
change.

Important Notice Regarding Potential Fraudulent Activity
Dear Father & Parish Families : It has come to our attention that a number of people have been receiving fraudulent text messages from an individual or entity posing to be priests of the Diocese of Providence who are requesting assistance. The Text message is often from an unknown telephone number and when one calls the number they are asked to hang up reply by texting. Please DO NOT REPLY to the TEXT MESSAGES as this may potentially place you and your parishioners at risk for fraud. Like "phishing emails" containing viruses, it is possible for people inflict the same malicious activity via text messages. As is the case with unknown emails, you are encouraged not to reply to unknown text messages. Sincerely, Reverend Jeremy J. Rodrigues Administrative Secretary to the Bishop
