Ashridge CiderWe made our name producing Sparkling Ciders – Vintage

and Devon Blush – using the traditional champagne

method. We call it ‘Devon’s apply answer to champagne!’

It’s a high quality sparkling cider using the traditional

method, or ‘méthod champenoise’

We also now produce some bottled organic vintage ciders

– fruity and aromatic with great depth of flavour – made

from 100% apple juice, using up to fifteen different varieties

of bittersweet and bitter sharp cider apples – from old

organic orchards in Devon. Lots of Gold awards for this

one.

Our draught ciders, usually in Bag in Box, are getting really

popular now. A medium dry, delicious, crisp, clean still

cider. And Devon Blush, Medium Sweet with added

blackberry. And new last winter – Mulled Cider, to keep

you warm and happy.

And to compliment the ciders we have also come up with

a really delicious range of organic sparkling soft drinks with

a touch of fizz. Elderflower Pressé, traditional Lemonade,

a lovely sparkling Apple Juice, a perfect mix of Apple and

Elderflower, and another brilliant blend of Blackberry and

Apple - all organic, all sparkling, all delicious!

Hunt's Farm CiderWelcome to Hunt's Farm Cider. We are a small

West Country family farm on the outskirts of

Paignton in South Devon. Our farm is a mixed

400 acre farm stocking cattle and sheep, as

well as growing barley and 18 acres of cider

apple orchards.

We make in the region of 5000 - 7000 gallons

of cider each year predominantly from our own

apples and sell directly from the farm gate, as

well as supplying a handful of local farm

shops, delis and high end retail outlets.

All our cider is made from 100% juice, and

although not certified as organic we do not use

any sprays on our orchards.

Branscombe ValeThe Branscombe Vale Brewery celebrated its

20th anniversary in 2012 with the last 20 years

seeing two expansions to keep up with

demand.

Now brewing 7200 pints every brew, the

brewery continues to concentrate on converting

West Country Barley and its own water into

quality, easy drinking ales.

Branscombe Vale Brewery does not supply the

major supermarkets or the pub co's, rather

choosing to support quality independent outlets

in East Devon, West Dorset and West Somerset,

with both its draught and bottled ales. Four

regular ales are available on draught, with the

best known of these, Branoc (3.8%), winning a

coveted place on the Champion's Stillage at the

great British Beer Festival 2012.

Yearlstone VineyardYearlstone vineyard is located on a steep

southerly slope on a hillside above the lower

valley of the river Exe at the picturesque village

of Bickleigh in mid Devon. It is 200 feet above

sea level and has natural protection from the

west, north and east. The soil is a silty clay loam

over fragmented Devon red sandstone with

excellent drainage and is perfect for vines - red

soils are the most sought after for vineyards all

around the world. In all, Yearlstone's position is

perfect for growing vines and ripening grapes.

The vineyard was started in 1976 by pioneering

English viticulturist Gillian Pearkes. She planted

many different wine varieties collected on her

worldwide travels and experimented with wine

growing techniques for the English climate. The

vineyard had an international reputation thanks

to Gillian's pioneering efforts.

Old Walls VineyardOld Walls Vineyard has invested in the same

modern technology that now graces the great

New World wineries and provides us with the

exciting fruity and fresh tasting wines we love.

The key to good wine making is cleanliness and

speed.

The sooner the grapes are harvested and

pressed the better chance of capturing the

great flavours inside the grape. We have the

facility to harvest and process 20,000 litres of

wine per season producing around 27,000

bottles. We produce four types of wine, white,

red, rose and sparkling.

These are produced from a variety of grapes,

in particular the whites are Reichensteiner,

Bacchus and Auxerrios. The red varieties are

Regent, Rondo and Dunkelfelder and there is

also a Pinot Noir Early.

Makers of homemade jam, marmalade, chutney,

condiments and jelly. Complying with Slow Food

principles, we source fruit and vegetables in season

and as locally as possible. This approach has

produced over 60 Great Taste and Taste of the West

Awards in our 10 years of cooking of which, 25 are

Gold.

We believe in TASTE. Our preserves are high fruit

giving a concentrated flavour. We have a minimum

fruit content between 60 and 80%, this really means

a little can go a long way.

Our hand cut Marmalades has gone from strength

to strength with numerous Awards including

Paddington Bears 'paw' of approval with silvers at

the Original Marmalade Festival in Cumbria for the

last 3 years and several Great Taste Golds. Made in

batches of 22 jars, our marmalades have the kick to

Seasonal SamosasSeasonal Samosas is a family run catering

business born from Nin's love of ethnic cooking

and Tom's passion for gardening.

The vegetables that are used in our cooking are

all grown locally; the majority of it is grown in

our own Indian garden.

We believe in an organic, sustainable, low

carbon growing method to ensure our food is

healthy and tasty; we even use a flock of Indian

runner ducks as pest control!

Our dishes are the combination of age old

secret Punjabi recipes mixed with fresh Devon

produce and a British twist. The secret to our

unique taste is in the 'Garam Masala'; a mix of

spices that is individual to families and handed

down from mother to daughter over

generations. While the food is fried it is still

incredibly healthy as the freshness is captured

and held in during cooking. The main

ingredients in all our products are vegetables

and the Pakoras and Tikkis are suitable for

people with gluten intolerances due to the use

of gram flour, we also offer a gluten free samosa

option made using rice flour.

Currently we sell 2 types of pickle/chutney a mildand a hot version. A sweet Pickle, seasonalvegetables are mixed with our freshly groundspices cooked to perfection whilst leaving aslight crunch.

The hot one uses 4 different types of chilies alongwith black pepper to create a wonderful depth ofheat.

Pakora and Bhajis are traditional Indian streetfood made by coating sliced veg in gram flour(chick pea flour) and spices, they are then fried toa crisp and served on their own or with a pickle.

In India each family has its own ‘Garam massala’,it is a spice mix which is handed down frommother to daughter through generations, eachfamilies spice mix is ‘the best’…. Ours really is.

Blueberry Bros.We grow blueberries on the edge of Dartmoor.

We have just under 700 bushes, we sell our

fresh berries to local retailers farm shops and

on our own stall at Farmers Markets and Food

Shows.

With a short season of between 6-8 weeks, we

also rely on other sources of blueberries to

supply for our growing range of year round

blueberry foods and drinks . We work with local

producers to develop and make our delicious

blueberry foods and drinks such as chocolates,

muffins, tarts, brownies, chocolates and beer.

Good GameEverything we do is by hand, like true artisans. We cure

using only salt and natural Exe estuary air. We use no

Nitrates, saltpeter or curing agents. We don’t even use

drying chambers – we do it the traditional way.

Good Game supports local producers. We source our

pork mostly from Kenniford Farms or small producers

or rare breed pigs like Oxford Sandy and Blacks or

Devon Blacks. Our game is either shot by us or local

Devon folk we know. We buy sundries and kit from MK

in Devon who are a local family business. Where

possible we get spices from one of the Devon

producers or a small specialist importer who has direct

contact with growers and can ensure quality levels.

We are true artisans and very proud of what we do. Our

mission is to make the best tasting game and cured

meat in the world. We have a long way to go to beat

the likes of Iberico but the journey has started.

Standard Terms and Conditions For Supply of Goods and Services of Westcountry Direct Ltd

1 DEFINITIONSIn this document the following words shall have the following meanings:1.1 "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions together with the terms of any applicable Specification Document;

1.2 "Customer" means the organisation or person who purchases goods and services from the Supplier;

1.3 "Intellectual Property Rights" means all patents, registered and unregistered designs, copyright, trade marks, know-how and all other forms of intellectual property wherever in the worldenforceable;

1.4 "Specification Document" means a statement of work, quotation or other similar document describing the goods and services to be provided by the Supplier;

1.5 "Supplier" means WESTCOUNTRY DIRECT LTDCHANNON HOUSENEWTON ABBOT.TQ12 2QA

2 GENERAL2.1 These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts for the supply of goods and services by the Supplier to the Customer.

2.2 Before the commencement of the services the Supplier shall submit to the Customer a Specification Document which shall specify the goods and services to be supplied and the price payable.The Customer shall notify the Supplier immediately if the Customer does not agree with the contents of the Specification Document. All Specification Documents shall be subject to these Terms andConditions.

2.3 The Supplier shall use all reasonable endeavours to complete the services within estimated time frames but time shall not be of the essence in the performance of any services.

3 PRICE AND PAYMENT3.1 The price for the supply of goods and services are as set out in the Specification Document. The Supplier shall invoice the Customer weekly with invoice days running from Monday to Saturday.With the exception of goods purchased, these shall be on a COD (cash on delivery) basis, or if purchased through the website of Westcountry Direct.com that payment can be made through a thirdparty, i.e. Paypal or similar.

3.2 Invoiced amounts shall be due and payable within 7 days of receipt of invoice. The Supplier shall be entitled to charge interest on overdue invoices from the date when payment becomes duefrom day to day until the date of payment at a rate of 8% per annum above the base rate of the Bank of England. In the event that the Customer’s procedures require that an invoice be submittedagainst a purchase order to payment, the Customer shall be responsible for issuing such purchase order before the goods and services are supplied.

3.3 Accounts will be arranged on a DD (Direct Debit) basis only.

4 SPECIFICATION OF THE GOODSAll goods shall be required only to conform to the specification in the Specification Document. For the avoidance of doubt no description, specification or illustration contained in any productpamphlet or other sales or marketing literature of the Supplier and no representation written or oral, correspondence or statement shall form part of the contract.

4.1 Although every endeavour is made by Westcountry Direct Ltd to ensure that the goods purchased have the longest shelf life when taken from the producer, Westcountry Direct Ltd accept noresponsibility for short Best Before End dates, or stock that is out of date through lack of stock rotation, lack of presence in store, none visible point of sale by the customer.

4.2 Upon receipt of the goods, the customer is responsible for the stock count of the goods delivered and to ensure that the BBE dates are satisfactory. Westcountry Direct Ltd, accept no responsibilityonce the goods have been signed for.

4.3 Westcountry Direct ltd have checked the validity of the suppliers Hygiene certificates, ensured that they follow all available and relevant codes of practice in the preparation, storage and handlingof food items. These certificates are available upon request.

5 DELIVERY5.1 The date of delivery specified by the Supplier is an estimate only. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract and the Supplier shall not be liable for any loss, costs, damages,charges or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of the goods.

5.2 All risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery.

6 TITLE Title in the Goods shall not pass to the Customer until the Supplier has been paid in full for the Goods.

7 CUSTOMER`S OBLIGATIONS7.1 To enable the Supplier to perform its obligations under this Agreement the Customer shall:

7.1.1 co-operate with the Supplier;

7.1.2 Provide the Supplier with any information reasonably required by the Supplier;

7.1.3 Obtain all necessary permissions and consents which may be required before the commencement of the services; and

7.1.4 Comply with such other requirements as may be set out in the Specification Document or otherwise agreed between the parties.

7.2 The Customer shall be liable to compensate the Supplier for any expenses incurred by the Supplier as a result of the Customer’s failure to comply with Clause 7.1.


7.3 Without prejudice to any other rights to which the Supplier may be entitled, in the event that the Customer unlawfully terminates or cancels the goods and services agreed to in the SpecificationDocument, the Customer shall be required to pay to the Supplier as agreed damages and not as a penalty the full amount of any third party costs to which the Supplier has committed and inrespect of cancellations on less than five working days’ written notice the full amount of the goods and services contracted for as set out in the Specification Document, and the Customer agreesthis is a genuine pre-estimate of the Supplier’s losses in such a case. For the avoidance of doubt, the Customer’s failure to comply with any obligations under Clause 7.1 shall be deemed to be acancellation of the goods and services and subject to the payment of the damages set out in this Clause.

7.4 In the event that the Customer or any third party, not being a sub-contractor of the Supplier, shall omit or commit anything which prevents or delays the Supplier from undertaking orcomplying with any of its obligations under this Agreement, then the Supplier shall notify the Customer as soon as possible and:

7.4.1 The Supplier shall have no liability in respect of any delay to the completion of any project;

7.4.2 If applicable, the timetable for the project will be modified accordingly;

7.4.3 The Supplier shall notify the Customer at the same time if it intends to make any claim for additional costs.

8 ALTERATIONS TO THE SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT8.1 The parties may at any time mutually agree upon and execute new Specification Documents. Any alterations in the scope of goods and/or services to be provided under this Agreement shallbe set out in the Specification Document, which shall reflect the changed goods and/or services and price and any other terms agreed between the parties.

8.2 The Customer may at any time request alterations to the Specification Document by notice in writing to the Supplier. On receipt of the request for alterations the Supplier shall, within 5working days or such other period as may be agreed between the parties, advise the Customer by notice in writing of the effect of such alterations, if any, on the price and any other terms alreadyagreed between the parties.

8.3 Where the Supplier gives written notice to the Customer agreeing to perform any alterations on terms different to those already agreed between the parties, the Customer shall, within 5working days of receipt of such notice or such other period as may be agreed between the parties, advise the Supplier by notice in writing whether or not it wishes the alterations to proceed.

8.4 Where the Supplier gives written notice to the Customer agreeing to perform alterations on terms different to those already agreed between the parties, and the Customer confirms in writingthat it wishes the alterations to proceed on those terms, the Specification Document shall be amended to reflect such alterations and thereafter the Supplier shall perform this Agreement uponthe basis of such amended terms.

9 WARRANTY9.1 The Supplier warrants that the services performed under this Agreement shall be performed using reasonable skill and care, and of a quality conforming to generally accepted industrystandards and practices.

10 INDEMNIFICATIONThe Customer shall indemnify the Supplier against all claims, costs and expenses which the Supplier may incur and which arise, directly or indirectly, from the Customer’s breach of any of itsobligations under this Agreement, including any claims brought against the Supplier alleging that any goods and/or services provided by the Supplier in accordance with the SpecificationDocument infringes a patent, copyright or trade secret or other similar right of a third party.

11 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY11.1 Free Transit Liability - £10.00 per KG - Items not Covered by WESTCOUNTRY DIRECT LTD Transit Liability CoverGlass, precious stones, jewellery, money, glass, china, objects of art, antiques, fresh produce, Consequential loss and valuable documents (passports, tenders, quotations, share or option certificates), We will not be liable for any loss of use, loss of profit, loss of customers, or other direct or indirect loss you suffer. We will not be liable for loss of or damage to the goods or for an incorrect delivery or a delay if the loss, damage, delay or incorrect delivery has been caused by any of the following. Natural disasters (such as floods), including unfavourable weather conditionsWar, invasion, terrorism, riot or any similar event.The goods being legally seized, confiscated, destroyed or damaged by any authority. Any natural wastage of, fault in or deterioration of the goods.Insufficient or incorrect packaging of all or some of the goods.Insufficient or incorrect addressing of all or some of the goods. Insufficient or incorrect information in any consignment note filled in by the Customer. Any labour dispute or disturbance of any kind.Any events beyond our control including congestion and delay.All claims for damage should be put in writing no later than 24hours from delivery and loss claims should be put in writing no later than 48hours from collection by WESTCOUNTRY DIRECT LTD. All claims must be supported with a full detailed description of the goods.Cover is limited to the cost value of the goods and supporting documentation will be required. All damage claims are subject to inspection by WESTCOUNTRY DIRECT LTD.

11.2 Except in respect of death or personal injury due to negligence for which no limit applies, the entire liability of the Supplier to the Customer in respect of any claim whatsoever or breach ofthis Agreement, whether or not arising out of negligence, shall be limited to the price paid by the Customer to which the claim relates.

11.3 In no event shall the Supplier be liable to the Customer for any loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of profits or for any other indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever. Thisshall apply even where such a loss was reasonably foreseeable or the Supplier had been made aware of the possibility of the Customer incurring such a loss.

11.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the Supplier’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from the Supplier’s negligence or that of its employees, agents orsub-contractors.

11.5 WESTCOUNTRY DIRECT act as a Third Party Logistics provider and from time to time will use a Third Party to deliver your goods. The Customer will be covered by the limits of liability of thesecarriers. WESTCOUTRY DIRECT reserve the right to use such carriers as is deemed the most cost effective way to deliver the goods.

11.6 Westcountry Direct Ltd have public liability cover to the value of £2million. Details are available upon request. No liability is accepted, or inferred without prior and full written consent andagreement, from both involved parties.

12 TERMINATIONEither party may terminate this Agreement forthwith by notice in writing to the other if:

12.1 the other party commits a material breach of this Agreement and, in the case of a breach capable of being remedied, fails to remedy it within 30 calendar days of being given written noticefrom the other party to do so;

12.2 Either party may terminate the contract with 7 days written notification.

12.3 the other party passes a resolution for winding up (other than for the purpose of solvent amalgamation or reconstruction), or a court of competent jurisdiction makes an order to that effect;

12.4 the other party ceases to carry on its business or substantially the whole of its business; or

12.5 the other party is declared insolvent, or convenes a meeting of or makes or proposes to make any arrangement or composition with its creditors; or a liquidator, receiver, administrative receiver,manager, trustee or similar officer is appointed over any of its assets.

13 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTSAll Intellectual Property Rights produced from or arising as a result of the performance of this Agreement shall, so far as not already vested, become the absolute property of the Supplier, and theCustomer shall do all that is reasonably necessary to ensure that such rights vest in the Supplier by the execution of appropriate instruments or the making of agreements with third parties.

14 FORCE MAJEUREPlease see above, but accept as a summary.

Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limitedto acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, the act or omission of government, highway authorities or any telecommunications carrier, operator or administration or other competentauthority, or the delay or failure in manufacture, production, or supply by third parties of equipment or services, and the party shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations afternotifying the other party of the nature and extent of such events.

15 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS

The Supplier and the Customer are contractors independent of each other, and neither has the authority to bind the other to any third party or act in any way as the representative of the other, unlessotherwise expressly agreed to in writing by both parties. The Supplier may, in addition to its own employees, engage sub-contractors to provide all or part of the services being provided to theCustomer and such engagement shall not relieve the Supplier of its obligations under this Agreement or any applicable Specification Document.

16 ASSIGNMENTThe Customer shall not be entitled to assign its rights or obligations or delegate its duties under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the Supplier.

17 SEVERABILITYIf any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any Court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisionsherein shall continue in full force and effect as if this Agreement had been agreed with the invalid illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.

18 WAIVERThe failure by either party to enforce at any time or for any period any one or more of the Terms and Conditions herein shall not be a waiver of them or of the right at any time subsequently to enforceall Terms and Conditions of this Agreement.

19 NOTICESAny notice to be given by either party to the other may be served by email, fax, personal service or by post to the address of the other party given in the Specification Document or such other addressas such party may from time to time have communicated to the other in writing, and if sent by email shall unless the contrary is proved be deemed to be received on the day it was sent, if sent byfax shall be deemed to be served on receipt of an error free transmission report, if given by letter shall be deemed to have been served at the time at which the letter was delivered personally or ifsent by post shall be deemed to have been delivered in the ordinary course of post.

20 ENTIRE AGREEMENT This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter and supersedes any previous agreements, arrangements, undertakings or proposals, oral or written.Unless expressly provided elsewhere in this Agreement, this Agreement may be varied only by a document signed by both parties.

21 NO THIRD PARTIESNothing in this Agreement is intended to, nor shall it confer any rights on a third party.

22 GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTIONThis Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
