WHEN YOU ARRIVE | MOVE-IN DAY STEPS When you arrive during your scheduled move-in time frame, you may go directly to your residence hall. Use caution and watch for changes to the normal traffic pattern. When you get to your residence hall, please unload your vehicle as quickly as possible so that others can unload as well. Volunteers will be outside of the building to help you. Once your vehicle is empty, please move it to a designated long-term parking area prior to completing your check in. A volunteer will help you check in and pick up your room key with service center staff. Volunteers and equipment are available to assist with moving your belongings to your room. New residents must fill out a Room Condition Report on MyUHDS within 24 hours and note the condition of their room to avoid any charges upon move out.
