How Do We Learn?

• We all learn differently – so do not copy from your neighbor…that is cheating!

Expectations• Be Familiar with F-M Handbook and Demerits. If it is in

the handbook and demerit list it applies.

• You are Responsible and Accountable for Yourself.

• Use appropriate manners, language, and actions = Respect for yourself and others.

• Prepare Yourself: Get your business done before class begins, have assignments prepared, and class materials ready.

• Remain at your seat/desk until the dismissal bell rings.

• Restroom use: First 5, Last 5 of class. Unless an emergency, you will not be permitted to go to any other area. Block classes will have about a 5 minute break between periods.

• The class planner / agenda must have my signature in order to leave the classroom. You must also sign out and back in on the sign-out sheet.

•No electronic devices are permitted in the classroom.

•Use of headphones may possibly be permitted by me when we are doing computer activities.

•No open containers

•Avoid touching or getting into things that do not belong to you

Assignments / Projects:• Posted on FM web-page, presented orally,

and written on the whiteboard. You can write your own reminder of due dates.

• Deadlines MUST BE met… I DO NOT accept Late work (unless you have specific paperwork that indicates otherwise or you are absent)

Late is = not turned in when I come around

to collect it.

- *See Handbook regarding incomplete assignments/demerits

• If you are absent – ask for assignments/assessments/ activities when you miss class. You will have 3 days upon returning to complete missed assignments.

• Accountability Points – You can earn/maintain 10 points per week. These points are lost due to incomplete assignments , inappropriate words and actions/disruptions.

• Extra Credit (2 points) : Can be earned every week via. Bellringer.
