Late WorkLate homework receives a 0 initiallyTo turn in late work that has been completed,
student will show me during HW check time at the beginning of next class OR put work in “IN” tray at back of classroom
It will be entered into NCWise as a 60 & placed back in “OUT” tray to be picked up
Late work will “snowball”, so complete assignments nightly! There will ALWAYS be science homework, many times with multiple parts!!
AbsencesIf a student is absent, please check my website
to see posted assignments and complete anything that can be done from home.
Student should get worksheets/notes sheets upon return. There will be a running list of what belongs on each page of the Interactive Notebook kept in classroom.
Science only meets every other day & there is a great deal of content to cover, so good attendance is key!
What you can do to help your child be successful…Check your child’s agenda nightly and
make them physically show you the completed homework
Check wiki site for info on nightly homework assignments & upcoming tests/quizzes
Utilize Parent Assist & let your child view their assignments/grades as well
