Planning Days
Planning days are whole days that are dedicated to teacher training and completing end-of-semester duties.
We have five pre-planning days, two post-planning days and three mid-year planning days.

Leave Days
Sick Days
You are given four days of sick leave at the beginning of each school year.
One additional day of sick leave is accrued each month (September to February).
They are cumulative from year to year.
They can be used for yourself or an immediate relative.
Sick leave longer than five days must be verified by a doctor’s statement.
Personal Days
You may use six of your sick leave days for personal reasons.
Personal leave reasons shall not create an undue hardship for your school.
They should be requested in advance if possible.
TDE Days
Temporary Duty Elsewhere (TDE) is considered regular service and no charge is made against your leave time.
TDE may include district workshops, training, observation of model classrooms, and various other work-related activities
Request for TDE should be made in advance and must be approved by the principal.
Reporting Absences from Work
All absences, including those on planning days, must be reported to
Kelly Services Educational Staffing1-800-942-3767.
Absences may also be reported on the web at www.kellyeducationalstaffing.com. At the top, click U. S., and then click on KASS Login and follow the instructions. (You will need your ID # and PIN #.)
If the emergency occurs after 6 A.M., call the school at (insert school phone number) as well as Kelly Services.
Pay Day

If you can be mistaken for a student, reconsider the clothes you are wearing.
