football, Pro Soccer, High School)• Received Teacher certification from Eastern

University in 2010.• 6th Year Teaching at C.D. East.• Working on Masters in Adaptive P.E.• Mother of 7 year old- Ava Marie and 1 year old

Units• First Quarter: The American Red Cross,

Responding to an Emergency

• Second Quarter: First Aid

• Third Quarter: Cardiac Emergencies

• Fourth Quarter: Respiratory Emergencies

Red Cross Certification

To receive certification cards students must:

• Properly demonstrate all skills

• Pass Red Cross exams and skill checks with an 80% or higher.

• There is a $27.00 fee charged to the students in order to be certified.

2 year Certifications

• Adult CPR/AED

• Child CPR/AED

• Infant CPR

• First Aid

Course GradingClasswork/Participation: 40%

– Homework– Participation/Unit Packets

Skill Checks/Tests: 60% Absence/ISS/OSS- Any missed

work must be made up within 2 weeks of returning to school.
