Year 6 Animation production
Year 6 have been working with an animator from the University of Worcester to produce animations based on the story of Hansel and Gretel. They used their storyboards from the last session to create accurate char-acter puppets based on their own interpretations of the story. Then it was time to animate! A lot of patience was required but our animators of the future did a fantastic job! Well done Year 6!
We seek to develop confident and creative learners who can thrive in a changing world.
Carols at The Community Centre
Our choir gave their first festive performance at the Church Hill Fair on Wednesday. It was wonderful to hear them sing and see all of the happy faces supporting—Thank you!
Festive Fun!
This week has been filled with
lots of learning and a side order
of festive fun. Christmas lunch
was fabulous with plenty of
turkey, music and crackers. We
hosted a Christmas Jumper Day to
raise money for Save The
Children. Thank you for your
support with the fund raising. We
will let you know have the
amount raised when it has all
been counted.
Threadworms
We have recently had a reported case of threadworms. The advice given from the school nurse is that if you suspect your child has threadworms, medication is avail-able over the counter at the pharmacy. The whole family should be treated. We are reiterating with children the importance of washing hands after picking things up out-side and obviously after using the toilet and before eating.

Girls Football:
On Wednesday, our Year 7 Girls' football team took part in a 7-a-side tournament at Woodfield Middle School. This was only the second outing for the girls, but in such a short space of time they have made huge improvements which were also noted by the teachers of the other schools there. With only 6 players and extremely cold conditions, the girls battled hard and did themselves, Miss Dyer and the school proud. Well done to Lucy Heath, Kayley Veness, Grace Lipscomb, Emma Collier, Superstar Keeper - Chloe Hennessy and Hat-trick Hero - Zoe Nicholls.
