WELCOME TO THE GAMEKEEPER’S INN

Just north of the quaint village of Grassington, heading up the spectacular glacial valley of Wharfedale, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. We’d like to start by saying thank you for considering us as the venue for your special day! The time leading up to your wedding day should be exciting, romantic and memorable, we hope you enjoy planning your day and we look forward to being there every step of the way. Our wedding coordinator will help design a bespoke package, providing advice on every aspect of your day to create the wedding you dreamed of. From the moment you arrive, our dedicated team will ensure you and your guests have attentive and seamless service. The Netherside Suite is an idyllic setting offering a large log burning fire, natural oak beams, rural inspired rustic charm and large windows allowing a natural light to grace your day. We hope you both love it and feel at ease in your surroundings. Within its site The Gamekeeper’s Inn has a collection of bedrooms, family rooms and suites, all beautifully appointed and bursting with character. The bar area hosts an informal space to drink and dine, filled with comfy chairs, a hearty glowing log fire and cosy nooks and crannies, perfect for pre-wedding get togethers. The conservatory dining room also prides itself on providing a relaxed and informal destination serving tasty local produce. Within the park itself, you’ll find the leisure centre and Long Ashes Pure Spa complex, wildlife and woodland walks. We do believe there is something for everyone off the beaten track at Long Ashes Park. We can’t wait to host your wedding and look forward to planning your big day. THE NETHERSIDE SUITE

The Netherside Suite provides a beautifully appointed setting for your day with a peaked

ceiling framed by exposed oak beams, a log burning fire, private bar and double doors

opening out on to the terrace and garden. The Netherside Suite provides formal dining for up

to 140 guests and a reception for up to 200 guests.

ENTERTAINMENT

We welcome bands, DJ’s and live entertainment of your choice to create the perfect

atmosphere for your day.

Our idyllic location in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park ensures a picturesque location for your photographs. There are a range of locations both in and around The Gamekeeper’s Inn and the surrounding grounds of Long Ashes Park which allow you to capture the beautiful landscape. CAR PARKING We have ample on-site parking for your guests.

CIVIL CEREMONY

With our conservatory and Netherside Suite approved for Civil Marriages and Partnerships,

you and your guests can celebrate your ceremony and reception in one idyllic location. With

two beautifully appointed rooms to choose from, we can accommodate up to 140 guests for

your ceremony.

CONSERVATORY

A delightful bright and airy room with views on to the garden.

ACCOMMODATION

We have eleven beautiful bedrooms providing the ideal retreat after a day of celebrating.

Residents receive Yorkshire breakfast and full use of our leisure facilities including swimming

pool, sauna, steam room, gym and jacuzzi. In addition, residents receive 10% off beauty

treatments at Long Ashes Pure Spa, excluding spa offers.

We have a range of treats which can be added to your room on request including Champagne,

chocolates, flowers and Elemis spa products.

Check in time is from 3pm on the day of arrival and check out is by 11am on the morning of

departure.

Prices are charged per room based on two people sharing.

personalised spa experience and offer an extensive range of treatments and therapies

designed to enhance your well-being.

delivers a high quality service to suit your needs and transform your look. Envy hair stylists

are practiced in creating beautiful up-do’s and bridal hair.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

PAYMENT POLICY

Once you have chosen a date for your wedding, we will provisionally hold your booking for up

to fourteen days. If you are holding a civil ceremony, this will allow you time to contact the

local Registrar and check their availability for the date. At the end of the fourteen days we

require a non-refundable deposit of £500.

A pro-forma invoice will be raised for the balance which is to be paid fourteen days prior to the

event.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Up to fifteen days prior to the event - £500 deposit non-refundable, any balance paid will be

refunded.

Within fourteen days of the event – full deposit and balance non-refundable.

THINGS YOU MAY LIKE TO KNOW

We only hold one wedding per day.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

On occasion, it may be necessary to vary the menu slightly due to limited availability of

produce outside of our control.

It is not the policy of the hotel to provide the option of corkage.

Approximately 6 weeks before the day we will meet to discuss final details. This appointment

is your opportunity to confirm the number of guests and any bedrooms you require.

Confetti is not permitted indoors and only petals may be used in the grounds.

We are unable to have fireworks in the grounds.

We require a copy of any entertainers’ public liability insurance 28 days prior to the event.

Please note we reserve the right to alter menus, drink selections and prices at any time.

Wedding menu tastings are available for £30.00 per person, please speak to your wedding

coordinator to organise a date and sample menu.
