CELEBRATE IN STYLEAmante is situated on three descending levels, stepping down from the main restaurant and dining terrace to the Amante beach level and then to Sol d’en Serra beach below. The restaurant, beach bar and beach create a unique, intimate and natural setting that is ideal for accommodating all the elements of your day.

Amante can host a formal dinner for up to 160 people. The cuisine options are simple yet sophisticated, using fresh local and organic produce whenever possible. The minimum number for exclusive weddings at Amante is 60 adults.

Using local, organic produce when available, the food compliments the stunning natural scenery with the cuisine that is fresh and delicious. The menu consists of 2 packages, gold and platinum. You are able to pick and mix between the two packages to design your perfect day for you and your guests.

ORGANISING YOUR WEDDING

Booking and organising a wedding can be a stressful experience, butit needn’t be. At Amante we have years of experience in organisingsuch events, and we always work to ensure that the day runs smoothly. We arrange all the elements of the day relating to food, drink and venue set-up. Other requirements, such as flowers and photographers should be organised by you the client, however we can recommend several such service providers who are based on the island, all of whom are reliable and speak English should this be necessary.

Alternatively, you are very welcome to contract the services of awedding planner to organize these elements. We do not provide awedding planning service ourselves but we can recommend wedding planners who are based on the island.

After booking your wedding with us, we will send a wedding dayform for you to complete, which will cover in detail all the elementsof the day’s events that need to be considered. We will then workclosely with you to ensure that all the details of the day are arrangedto your satisfaction.

To book a wedding, we ask for a deposit of €5000, to secure the date. The remainder of the cost should be settled 14 days before the event. Unfortunately we are unable to reserve any dates without receipt of a deposit. The costs to consider in booking your wedding are as follows:

BOOKING YOUR WEDDING

Most guests choose to perform the legal aspectsof their marriage either in their home country or ata church, and then perform a blessing at Amante.However, it is possible to have a legally bindingceremony at Amante if both partners are Spanishnationals. It is necessary to apply to the local courtwith a request to be married in our local authority ofSanta Eulalia. Once this is approved, then a requestmust be made at the town hall of Santa Eulalia to bemarried at Amante.

If either or both of the partners are non-Spanish nationals, the civil ceremony must be host in their home country.

In the event of rain

The wedding meal is normally conducted on the uncoveredAmante beach level. There is always an occasional risk of rain and we therefore recommend taking out insurance for this eventuality.

We can provide a stretch waterproof awning, which protects the whole wedding party all along the beach as well as the ceremony area. The awning is an elegant, ultra-modern canopy that maintains the sophisticated look and feel of Amante.

The cost of hiring a last-minute awning is €2500* and is subject to availability. We offer rain insurance at€495*, which means that in the event of rain, the awningrental is guaranteed and there is nothing additional to pay.Should the awning not be required, the €495 fee is nonrefundable. This optional rain cover insurance must agreed at least six weeks in advance of the wedding date.*Plus local tax (IVA)

FAQ

What is the minimum number of guests for an exclusive wedding at Amante?The minimum number of adult guests to host a wedding is 60. April and mid-October dates numbers can be discussed.

What time can the celebrations continue until? Due to local laws, the closing time of Amante is 2am.

Are there any sound restrictions? We can play music legally outside on the beach level until midnight, and in the lounge/terrace until closing time at 2am. The volume levels permitted are more than adequate for a DJ.

Can fireworks be used? Unfortunately no fireworks, fire dancers or flying lanterns can be used. We are in a nature reserve surrounded by trees and anything that represents a fire risk is banned by the authorities.

Can we use confetti / rice? Unfortunately not, again due to our respect for the surrounding environment it cannot be allowed. Natural petals/frozen petals however can be used.

How much is the deposit? We request a €5000 deposit to secure your date. This is non-refundable or exchangeable in the event that the client cancels (you may wish to consider insuring against unforeseen events). The remainder of the wedding is payable 14 days before the day of the wedding.

How do we book? Simply confirm your desired date and we will prepare a simple agreement. Once you are happy with all the details, both parties will sign in agreement. Our bank details are on the form for a bank transfer to be made into our bank account in Spain.

Is the venue suitable for children? Whilst we welcome children at Amante, we do advise that clients check the surroundings first, as close supervision is required. On the beach level there is an 5m drop to the sea, however the upper areas of the restaurant are completely safe. A child minding service, as well as kids’ entertainers, can be arranged, at additional cost.

Can the ceremony be held at Amante? Yes it can, they are normally held in the Thai pagoda at the end of the beach level. The ceremonies are not legally binding, and can only be so if arranged via the town hall in Ibiza by the client. This is only possible if both parties are Spanish nationals . Normally clients complete legal formalities in municipal office in their home country and perform a blessing here.

Would you consider the use of outside caterers? Unfortunately we do not rent the venue in this way, however we are happy for our kitchen to work alongside clients should a specific type of food be requested and we are unable to fulfill the request.

Can we bring our own wine? We do not accept external beverages, nor levy corkage fees. We are however happy to source any particular drink requirements that you may have.

What is the maximum number of people you can accommodate? Amante can host a sit down dinner for up to 160 people.

Do you provide the flowers / photographer/ DJ / video / celebrant? We do not, but we are happy to give all wedding clients contact details of a variety of proven suppliers upon booking the event. We can also advise on car services, hotels and musicians etc. We encourage you to arrange these services directly.

Do you allow the use of outside wedding planners? Yes, and are happy to recommend wedding planners should they be required.

GENERAL CONDITIONSPayment terms: Wedding dates can only be confirmed upon payment of a deposit of €5000,this deposit is non transferable or non-refundable upon cancellation by the client. After the initialpayment of the deposit we then require the full payment of the wedding no later than 14 days inadvance of the event. Please note that if paying by credit card there is a 2.5% credit card chargefor the transaction so we recommend that all payments are made via secure bank transfer. Pleasealways use your full name and date of wedding as the reference in any transfer made.Changes: Alterations to the wedding arrangements must be made six weeks prior to the bookedwedding date. Amante cannot make any changes to the event details after this time, except forchanges in guest numbers. Any change in guest numbers are limited, as agreed at the time of booking (such changes can be made only up to four week before the event). Any changes after

this time will incur a charge in full for the initial number of guests, or if more are added, charges for additional guests.

Suppliers of other services: Amante will advise and recommend third party suppliers of all servicesthat may be required such as DJs, musicians, florists, photographers etc. Amante however willnot be held responsible for the extra services or elements organised by the client. The payment forwedding/event planers or any other third party suppliers will be the responsibility of the clientand it is not included in this agreement. Amante cannot be held responsible for any property oritems left at Amante overnight by any third party suppliers.
