Brimming with character and charm, the Royal Automobile Club of Australia is the perfect venue for a sophisticated, romantic and elegant wedding. Ideally located in the heart of the city, the heritable building is situated on Macquarie Street, opposite the Royal Botanic Gardens and adjacent to Circular Quay, and the iconic Sydney Opera House.

The beautiful venue is filled with old world character, with its elaborate glass and stonework, crystal chandeliers and historical spiral staircase. The elegance of the Victoria Room and the grandeur of the Macquarie Room, a wedding at the Royal Automobile Club of Australia is a truly personal affair. Our dedicated Events Coordinator and in-house AV Manager will ensure we personalize your special day.

MOriginally the club’s dining room, this expansive room has been at the cornerstone of the Royal Automobile Club of Australia, since it first opened.

Lovingly restored with subtle touches, enhancing the delicate period details that echo its past. Renaissance pillars to the wooden dance floor and decorative detailing.

The legendary room has been the setting for many society weddings, gala evenings, state banquets, as well as providing a prestigious venue for impressive business conferences, film premieres and screenings. Minimum of 80 guests with a $10,000 minimum spend.
