There is arguably no better place to celebrate the start of a very special union than in the African bush. Whether small and intimate, or more extravagant, Lion Sands Game Reserve is highly flexible and can accommodate groups of up to 88 guests across 4 lodges.

A condition of booking a wedding at one of our lodges is that wedding guests must be accommodated with us. Should we not have the capacity for the full entourage, additional guests may be accommodated at adjacent lodges (we will gladly take care of these arrangements for you). Pro-rata costs beyond our maximum capacity will however be levied.

Would you prefer a small intimate wedding for just a few people, or a larger set up with as many guests as possible?

SouthAfricanlawrequirestwowitnessestobepresentatyourwedding.Pleaseadviseiftwoofyourguestswillfulfillthisfunction,orifyouwouldlikeustoarrangefortwoofour staff members as witnesses.

We include a single tier cake made by our chef in your wedding package. If you prefer a more elaborate cake, please provide details on flavour and style enable us to obtain a quotefromoursuppliers.

After the ceremony, would you like to participate on a game drive?

We do have an in-house choir, and can arrange for them to sing at the wedding ceremony or during dinner. There is an additional cost for their performance.

Would you like a professional photographer to capture memories of your special day?
