Airman Picinich has been se- lected for technical training as an aircraft equipment repairman at the Air Training Command (ATC) school dt Chanute AFB , 111. His new unit is part of the vast .TC b . btem which trains airmen and c_h_ _. c in th_ dl- vei se skills '(.qua cd by the na- tion s aerospdc t _ force. The airman is a 1963 graduate of William Floy d Hig h School. What do yem mean by that? J oe- It ' s bias this and bias that until I' m broke. " The Editorial Page of the Bul- letin was the combined effort of all three publishers. Concerning politics , just prio r to the elec- tion , they commented: * Since the publishers of this Newspaper are all under age to vote for the candidate we think should get into office , we here at the paper hope the best men win , ' Following the election the . applauded their townspeople with the following comment: "We here at the paper would like to congratulate the citi/ens of our town and many others for the way they all got out and voted ," The Bulletin staff contained one other member , whose true identity i S a closely guarded secret . "An accident took place on the intersection of Hawthorne and Moriches Avenue, Our star re- porters Michael and Dennis Blute were walking along Moriches Avenue when all of a sudden they heard a loud noise. They ran in the direction of the noise , and when we got there there was 2 cars on the side of the road smashed up. Afte r inquiring they found out all the facts " The story then gave some pertinent facts as to the reaso n for the accident. The Story added: One of our star reporters interviewed the lady in the house next to the crash , and when we asked what she thought when she heardthecra sh she said she thought her kitchen stove blew up. " The star reporters of the pub- lication took steps to prevent any problems w ith the hbel law s. Whenever they interviewed those they interviewed , they made it a point to have the person sign their notes 'to make sure they couldn 't back out of the state- ments later. " The Bulletin , which had a nor- mal circulation of about 40 read- ers who paid five cents an issue for the weekly publication, show- ed a profit from its a dvertising department during its short spa n of existence . The profit , a nickel came from the following classi- fied ad: "There is a car for sale on Patchogue Avenue , Ma stic. If you would like to inquire tele- phone. - " Wedo not pub- lish the telephone number here feeling sure that the powerful publication has already reaped results for the advertiser. While the Mastic [Bulletin has ceased to exist , all hope is not lost. Evidently smitten by the " printers ink " of the publish- ing field , the youngsters have vowed to resume their efforts soon. Perhaps the Bulletin will serve the community basis on a monthly basis , they report , at least until school is out again , so that they may again serve the community.
