Wedding Suites & Ceremony Rooms

Granta SuiteOur prestigious Granta Suite is the perfect setting for any fairytale wedding. Start with a champagne and carpet reception in the secluded garden that sweeps down to the river. In the summer months the garden gazebo is the perfect setting for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Then move into the Granta Suite where we can welcome up to 150 guests for a delicious wedding breakfast. For evenings, the Granta Suite has a large dance floor, private bar, can cater for up to 190 guests and is ideal for a disco or live band.

Cayley SuiteThis suite is ideal for the more intimate occasion. A light and airy room with fantastic river views opening onto a private garden, this suite can accommodate up to 36 guests for a wedding breakfast.

Cam SuiteThe Cam suite holds up to 60 guests and has beautiful views of the river. With access to gardens, it is ideal for a champagne reception and wedding breakfast.

Spend your wedding night in one of our relaxing bedrooms. A River View room is complimentary to couples who book one of our wedding packages. In addition, all your guests can take advantage of our extra special rates.Our bedrooms are equipped with a plasma television, individually controlled air-conditioning, direct dial

telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and minibars. We also have rooms overlooking the river Cam and executive rooms with balconies that offer bathrobes, slippers and a host of little extras. The next stepIf you do decide to hold your wedding ceremony at the hotel, you will need to co-ordinate the date and time with the hotel and liaise with the Superintendent Registrar and the Cambridge Registry Office.

Provisional BookingOnce a date and your requirements have been discussed and agreed with our Wedding Co-ordinator we can provisionally hold your event space for up to 14 days with no obligations.

Booking ConfirmationWhen you have informed the hotel that you would like to secure the date then an Event Agreement will be issued confirming all the details of your package. This is to be signed and returned to the hotel together with your deposit to confirm your Wedding.

Group accommodation bookings will only be made once a signed agreement has been returned confirming the number of rooms and nights required.

Terms of PaymentA deposit of £1,000.00 will be required to confirm your Wedding. A further 25% interim payment shall be due 3 months prior and the final balance shall be due in 1 month prior to the day.

Final DetailsYou will be invited to the hotel for your menu tasting approximately 3 months prior to the day. After this time you will also be invited to discuss your final details with our Wedding Co-ordinator. A final details meeting will also be arranged closer to the date to meet with your Event Manager for the day.
